if only my friends back in melbourne could try this diner style restaurant in a strip mall (which is very californian) at these prices. my rib-eye (scotch filet) and eggs with hash browns and english muffin was $15.95. the portions are big is classic americana fashion and i love it. this place rocks. norm no longer owns it but the current is awesome and knows everyone's name. customers are super friendly with each other and the wait staff make everyone feel like they are being treated to a home cooked meal. which they are!!!

very cheap and the food explains why. the cheese in my omelette was velveeta that stuck to the roof of my mouth. i'll admit i'm a bit if a food snob but i also like finding a good dive. this doesnt even count as good cheap eating. i didnt finish my food and my 3-year-old son wouldn't eat anything but the bacon. "yucky" is his description of the eggs, which he loves anywhere else. i will not be back. service was ok but doesn't matter if i won't eat the food.

love, love, love this place for breakfast. i love their banana pancakes or waffles - order it even if it's not on the menu. best biscuits and gravy in sonoma county - better than hank's and jeffrey's. friendly service, usually no wait, and they always have the game on. and they're always decorated for the season.
