went here after valentine’s to treat my mom for lunch. i already searched ahead of time on their food offerings before going, so we ordered the shrimp salad as appetizer, mac ‘n cheese, tomato and basil pasta and the famous chocolate oblivion for dessert. food price is on the upscale range.
the salad was a big serving but we finished it as it has the right blend of sweetness, umami and freshness brought by the shrimp and greens. their mac ‘n cheese tasted rich, however, could be improved to be more sticky and coming together as it had a soupy texture that time. tomato and basil pasta tasted ok, nothing spectacular for me that time. but the serving is already good for 3 people at least. lastly, for the dessert, chocolate oblivion was somehow similar to a mousse and tasted good.
the ambience of the place is very calming, with the interior design and furniture. everything’s pastel and light that will make you feel at home. the servers too were so polite and friendly, as some were just new on the job. will come back to try their other offerings.
