staff were cold, the waiter seemed to not want to wipe the table after being asked to because when we were seated, the table was sticky and had some liquid on it. the pastas were less than aldete, almost raw, and the taste... well there was no taste.. it was like they forgot to add salt in any of the pastas. had a side order of waffles and it came like a cracker... as if it were the last of the batter and the cooks didnt want to mix q new batch. the serving sizes of the meat were so small considering it was very expensive. won't be coming back here and i wouldn't recommend to anyone. the mediterranean place next to it has better food and service!

went here after valentine’s to treat my mom for lunch. i already searched ahead of time on their food offerings before going, so we ordered the shrimp salad as appetizer, mac ‘n cheese, tomato and basil pasta and the famous chocolate oblivion for dessert. food price is on the upscale range.

the salad was a big serving but we finished it as it has the right blend of sweetness, umami and freshness brought by the shrimp and greens. their mac ‘n cheese tasted rich, however, could be improved to be more sticky and coming together as it had a soupy texture that time. tomato and basil pasta tasted ok, nothing spectacular for me that time. but the serving is already good for 3 people at least. lastly, for the dessert, chocolate oblivion was somehow similar to a mousse and tasted good.

the ambience of the place is very calming, with the interior design and furniture. everything’s pastel and light that will make you feel at home. the servers too were so polite and friendly, as some were just new on the job. will come back to try their other offerings.

11/16/2021 terrible service! masarap sana ang food kaya bumalik kami, but customer service was bad. 2nd visit namin sana sa branch ng solenad, we reserved a cake for our child’s birthday. we planned on dining in sa pagpick up kasi malayo pinanggalingan namin because of a client meeting. my husband arrived at 7:30 in the evening. di siya inasikaso, the crew’s name was erica and isang guy. inuna ang 5 guests na dumating after him, then noong tinawag nya ulit. sinabihan siya na hanggang 7:45 lang sila at magclose na sila. niliwanag ng husband ko, close? so magorder pa lang ako if the food arrives after 10 minutes papaalisin nyo kami? sabi nila yes sir! my husband stepped out and called me. when i arrived i talked to the other crew. sabi nyo your restaurant will close at 7:45 it is now 7:40 i am willing to wait to see if ganun gagawin nyo. she clarified na last call daw yun at di closing. so bakit ganun ang sinabi ng ibang crew? pagod na sila i understand but they have to treat clients well, iba ang last call, sa closing time. and yung crew na guy habang nakikipagusap ako sa loob ay tumitingin pa ng di maganda sa husband ko sa labas. grabe naman.

i suggest that you should go for the desserts. don’t try their pasta, you will be disappointed as it is always undercooked, too chewy. not worth it 🙄

it was my first time at nono’s. i ordered the chicken and waffles. i really love the chicken it was crispy and juicy and the flavor was sweet & spicy. the salad that it comes with is really good also i love the dressing on that. the only thing i didnt like is the waffles :( it was not fluffy its hard to chew its like a puff pastry?
the other one is what my boyfriend ordered he enjoyed it too, the server approached us to inform that the best way to eat the chicken is to dip it in honey first and then the gravy. it was good! the coffee was okay.

crunchy chicken, flavorful glazed salmon, kid-friendly mac and cheese, tasty truffle cream pasta, and highly recommendable soups and appetizers. nice place for brunching with friends, and a perfect weekend dining experience for the family.

their best-selling chicken and waffles is a chickenjoy-wannabe but nowhere near the juiciness. two-piece chicken priced at 795 is wrong. only their truffle cheese wontons tickle the interest. their wait staff are very helpful though and ambience homey. hopefully, they improve the food to be at par with their price tag

i’ve tried this place twice but both times we just had the food delivered. they have an elaborate menu with interesting variety and their dishes are more creative than the typical. like they have crunchy cheese wontons with honey dip - sounds like something a stoner would make for late-night cravings right? yes they have that. they don’t skimp on truffle oil (they use it on a couple of menu items i think) but don’t overdo it either. i don’t remember the salad i tried (too lazy to go back and check the menu but it’s the one with cranberries and walnuts?) - it’s so good, i’m craving for it right now. one of the few restaurants in the philippines that understands the appropriate use of salt and sugar.

you can't go wrong with their desserts. everything i've tried so far were really good, from cakes to cookies. you can get your brownies and cookies a la mode too.

ambience
restaurant looked contemporary with a clean, well-lit and spacious interior. restroom floor was a bit sticky during our stay but i'm sure that'll be looked into; it's kinda hard to miss once you leave with your shoes making cartoon sound effects.

food
grilled pork chop was so good, buttery on top and tender towards the middle. shrimp el diablo was not too spicy and noodles were served al dente to perfection. pepito steak sliders were very tasty but i had to get used to eating such special meat in pandesal. (i'm used to eating pandesal with peanut butter, butter or tuna.) nono’s homestyle fried chicken sliders packed a good crunch and felt healthy despite the presence of gravy.

chocolate chip cookie was ultimately good! it was sweet like hershey's with a nice lump of excess batter in the middle and the chocolate melted nicely!

service
it was good and they were quick. we received a pitcher of water with a slice of zesty and refreshing lemon.
