we started with the happy pork appetizer. it was a bit gamy tasting and had a bad smell. however, the basil duck and drunken noodles were delicious once we added the thai spice.

great thai place! yumm! i came here on a saturday afternoon for a late lunch and to study. it was quiet and wasn't that packed. i had the nidda fresh rolls and the drunken noodles with chicken. it was very good! the ambiance was nice. it had a thailand feel and soft music playing. the staff was also very attentive and nice. i enjoyed my first trip here!

cold, nasty food. went for lunch. it was awful. tepid in temperature. looked like it had been cooked up way way ahead of time and slopped out onto the plate. this place use to be awful when it was the bangkok (bacteria) palace, and it's just as bad now.

nidda thai - our go-to for lunch. drunken noodles with chicken is excellent! for something different, try chu chee eggplant - very tasty, very unusual. their green curry is also great. even when crowded, their service is pretty good.

fishy beef. we dined out after a long break. the food was disappointing here. the som tum was below average. the beef curry (47 on the menu) was too fishy for the beef taste to come through. service was poor. avoid if possible.

dark space and very busy. really great food. try the drunken noodles and mango with sticky rice! expertly seasoned and perfectly cooked.

great to-go. i just started working in downtown houston and don't know too many people, but i want to try the food. the options are either fast food, to-go, or eat by myself at a restaurant most days.

nidda was not an ideal environment for eating solo (no real bar area), but the to-go was incredibly quick. i was in and out in about 10 minutes; my red curry was still piping hot and delicious at my office.

good eats, and i will be back again.

for several years in a row now, houston, texas, has topped the charts in lists of "fattest cities." sounds terrible, but on some of these lists, the main criteria is number of restaurants per so many square feet. in this measure, houston is off the scale. we love our restaurants, and its increasingly diverse population means we don't have to leave our backyard to sample cuisine from around the world.

my new favorite thai spot. i stopped here last night after a good workout. thankfully i was greeted as if i was dressed for the occasion, everyone else was much more dressier, enjoying the ambiance and good wine. i ordered some clear noodles, don't remember what he called it, they tweeked the dish to satisfy my desire for the way i like it made. also had the tom kha soup, a side salad and some thai tea. i am a picky thai eater, i have visited thailand and had the best of the best, and this place made me feel like i was there again. great selection of music in the background, service was top notch, water stays full, couldn't ask for more.

great thai. i don't think i've ever had bad thai food, but nidda gets added to the list of "good" thai restaurants. i had the nidda peanut dish and my friend had the ginger something-or-other. i also had a cup of tom kha gai. the food was prepared pretty quickly and tasted great, service was good, and prices were reasonable.

i'm really sad to see so few percentage of people like it because i think this place is authentic and delicious! i have been to thailand numerous times so i know good thai food. all of the curries are really tasty. the pad thai is good too. i've heard the chu chee eggplant is great but haven't tried it yet. the waiting staff is very sweet and prompt.
