very good taste & well served. not oily or bulky.

dal makhani, mix veg & chapati are must try. environment & ambience is very good. overall good experience.

i ordered the butter chicken to be delivered and it was just the way it should be.
the delivery guy was also very polite.

on my recent trip to nanital i always had dinner and breakfast from sher e punjab restaurant situated just opposite to naini lake
food was perfectly cooked n yummy

went in for dinner, loved the desi vibe it has, service was quick, food is yummy, you must visit while your visit to nainital.

its such a nice and cosy place , the owner of the cafe is so generous and charming.he welcomed us with a smile.the staff is well trained and very polite .the food was served very quick and hot.we ordered their paneer tikka masala, dal makhni,mix veg and butter roti .the food was averagely priced .the quality of food was very good .the staff was so quick with the service .the paneer tikka is a must have we visited the place two times and ordered the same dish twice.the dal makhni was also good maybe a little cream and butter would have enhanced the taste more.the mixed veg was prepared in a hurry and was having less spices .at last we were given finger bowl to wash our hands.as mouth freshners they offer gur and saunf at the end.we loved the experience alot.we were very happy and will always visit this place whenever in nainitaal .ps:i have not clicked many photos because i was very hungry,but you can count on my review .do follow me on insta @www.instagram.com/khaanekadeewana

liked the food, will visit it again

as the name suggests it is "sher e punjab" . my favorite dish of this restaurant is rajma chawal. one of the best rajma chawal i ever had. also tried kadai paneer and that too tastes amazing. the preparation is fresh. the portion size is decent and can easily be a light meal for 2 average diet people. highly recommend it to anyone who wants a delightful vegetarian food while enjoying a majestic view of the magnificent naini lake.

my experience here wasn’t really great! the food wasn’t that great and didn’t look fresh. the service was really quick and ambience is also fine. this place is quiet pocket friendly but the food wasn’t worth it. we ordered chicken seekh kebab which did not look fresh. the chicken sweet corn soup was fine.
overall it wasn’t a great place but pocket friendly.

the vibe of this place was good. it had that typical punjabi dhaba types look n we expected the food to be good. we were already so full so we simply opted for the takeaway!
we ordered
1. veg biryani- it was served with “raita”which was the only thing i liked about this place and i really didn’t like the “jeera” in biryani! it didn’t have any aroma of biryani neither the taste! i wouldn’t even call it a good veg pulao because it wasnt! i was really disappointed
2. achari paneer tikka- the paneer was really hard.. and it had some flavour of carom seeds was served with green chutney which wasnt mint might be corriander! it had hing in it! also kachumbar salad! and again the side thing was my preference as the main thing was not up to the mark!

this is located on mall road of nanital. they have indoor and outdoor seating both.
it was good weather so we take seat outdoor only.
it was weekend evening so place was crowded.
had paneer butter masala, rice and roti which was good in taste but service was slow.

the place is opposite to lake on mall road and outside seating let you have a mesmerizing view of lake.
we ordered chicken malai tikka, tandoori chicken, chicken sweet corn soup, mix veg and makki roti.
some pieces of chicken were a bit overcooked.
rest all dishes were good.

while roaming on the streets of nainital , we found this restaurant . amongst the many veg restaurants, this was the only non-veg restaurant on this side of the lake. we were one veg & one non-veg and hence wanted good taste of both. because of punjab, this looked like the one.

staff: as soon u enter the restaurant , u get the warm reception by a very attentive staff.
ambience:the infrastructure of the restaurant invites you in. seating area is both inside and outside.
food: we ordered chicken sher e punjab special curry which was true to it's name with authentic punjabi taste. the service was quick.

the only negative attribute was the washroom which was not too clean. the good thing though was we gave the feedback and it was will accepted with quick action.

in total, i loved the food, the quick service and the staff. will definitely visit again.

the food was very bad. sheekh kebab was undercooked. the other chicken dishes were not properly cooked. the rotis had charcoal stuck in them. it’s a very disappointing diwali dinner here.

good food , great service and nice ambience we ordered paneer tikka masala, their signature daal , boondi raita,aaloo prantha , garlic naan, butter naan and masala chai ☕️ all taste great especially masala chai ☕️ was awesome overall we enjoyed our time at sher e punjab 😊

the place is located on the mall road. the ambiance is decent and the food is amazing. you will literally drool over the flavours. i tried egg bhurji, dal makhni along with garlic naan and lachcha paranthas. the masala onions were superb. the portions were good. the service is prompt. loved the food.
