amazing thai restaurant with a very relaxed ambiance to it. the dishes are fairy small compared to other thai ie experienced, but they do not lack flavor, at all! added to favorites and will return for more next time i'm in the area!

by far the best thai food i have ever had. not only that but it is the best food i've eaten at any restaurant in quite a while. decor is tasteful, service is great, food is very flavorful and looks delicious. i've been there several times and each time the owner himself walks around and talks to every customer ensuring they are satisfied. it is obvious he cares. prices are very reasonable especially for northern va. highly recommended.

will visit again. my dining companion and i visited neisha thai cuisine shortly before 7:00 pm on a friday evening and were seated promptly. they were running a special on singha beer of three for two bottles and were even offering tastings as we were seated. we took advantage of that special.

we began our dining experience by sharing an order of the yum talay appetizer. we both liked the squid, mussels, and shrimp as well as the light lime-fish sauce dressing, but we did not think it was very spicy.
for entrees, i had the crying tiger steak, which was done very well. the steak was well seasoned and grilled and cut into thin pieces. most required a bit of additional cutting to make them bite-sized, but they were tender enough to cut easily. there was also a light fish-sauce, pepper, and onion sauce in a small bowl, sticky rice in a nifty bamboo container and some steamed vegetables. the vegetables were bland, but everything else was very good. i enjoyed the sauce on the rice more than on the steak as the steak was delicious by itself.

my companion had the pattaya noodles, which had a heat rating of two peppers (the highest i saw on menu was three and there were very few of those). in retrospect, the protein in this dish was very similar to our appetizer so something else may have been a better choice for added variety, but the cooking styles for both were different. crab meat was in this dish and not the appetizer and the addition of the noodles was another difference. the sauce for this dish was a thicker and spicier one which we both enjoyed. the seafood was tender and flavorful and the noodles were plentiful, tasty, and had a good consistency.

overall, we agreed neisha thai cuisine was definitely worth another visit.

longest wait of my life for an order. i have eaten at this restaurant 5 times and ordered from them 10+ times. tonight the restaurant took 2 hours to deliver our food. after 1 hour and 10 mins. of waiting i called to ask when it would arrive and i was told 20 minutes. i called after 20 mins. and was told the wait would be just a few more minutes. i was continually misled. if they had been honest to start it would not have been as bad. in the end when our food arrived it was fresh. it looks like they never sent the food out at all, until the 1 hour 45 min. mark. unfortunately, neisha thai lost a customer tonight. i do not recommend risking your night waiting for them. regretfully, jeff

disappointed with their drunken noodles. waitress suggested that a dish was equal to the drunken noodle i usually order and when the food came out the dish was sweet, when i specifically ordered extra spicy! then the girl had the nerve to tell me to tell her next time i order it to ask for her not to make it sweet. no where on the menu did this item say it was a sweet dish. very very disappointed.

interesting clean restaurant, attentive service and mild, tasty dishes. the food is not imaginative or fantastic, but i would readily return. pad thai soup and green curried veg were enjoyable.

one of the better papaya salads in dc area. nice decor and interior. the environment is nice but the chairs are uncomfortable. for food, thai pancake with ice cream ( green tea, ginger, or coconut ) will do, have chocolate syrup for drink. dine on thai curries, noodle dishes, seafood and vegetarian options in this restaurant's "cave of gems" decor.

peppers, and rice, and steak, oh my!. lovely little place (albeit noisy) even if it is essentially found in the underbelly of a shopping mall.

food is consistenly good (love the chicken satay and the pepper steak). a decent crowd also bears testimony to the place's tasty offerings.
