great dim sum. we ate here because our usual place isn't open so early. i prefer empress pavilion in chinatown, but this is a great alternative.

best dim sum i have ever had in my entire life!!! beware the wait can be long.

i can't believe it's already nearly been a year since i last went here. that's the travesty of living away from home in socal for so long - no good dim sum. i've got to say that this place is still the best place i've had dim sum before. i don't know if that will still hold true after i take a trip to san francisco in january but it sure as heck is still delicious. this time was also probably the fastest our family's eaten dim sum because we just ordered everything all at once despite my mother's protests. oh and of course, pastries were first! so we snagged the taro filled pastries that look like shredded pork on the outside, a new bun that tasted like an inverted dan ta had a child with melon pan, and dan ta itself. so good. we basically ran the gamut of our normal dishes and then tried out a few new ones we hadn't had before. i'll just post up all the

overall, i was pretty satisfied with dining at nbc seafood. i still can't get enough of their yummy dim sum.

if you enjoy excellent foods to the best go here.

price is not bad can get expensive only if you order alot and the prime dishes, like shark fin, lobster, crispy peking duck, roasted pork, steam live fish.

however if you like the simple dim sum and chicken or noodle dishes then you'll spend about $20 for 2 people but you want to go way out and enjoy then it can go over $100 easy depending on what you order.

they have a great bar and champaign moett, chrstal, and don with crown royal and johnny walker blue, black, and red lables.

or you can just have a simple hot tea or soda and not worry about spending alot. if your hungry and want to be satisfied with 2 people can enjoy on a budget but if its a special or romantic evening you can have your own dinning area and be left alone.

it's like a palace inside here big chandeliers and white table cloths, silverware and good china.

you get 4-5 servers to your table always to attend to you, seriously this place is terrific.

the food is always made to perfection and never an issue simply the best place to go when you want to enjoy 1st class service.

dim sum for seven. the more the merrier. i had dim sum with regulars at this restaurant. the service was excellent, but our status might have added to it.

every dish was excellent. we had a whole steamed rock cod. it was perfect and oh so tasty.

we had a soup that was for energy. you drink the consume and pretty well leave the rest. unusual but very savory.

i eat everything, including chicken feet, which were differently prepared from the typical style and were very good.

i was slightly disappointed in the lotus wrapped rice but all in all a sumputous luncheon. i can only thank my hosts for a great experience.

amazing dishes. the centerpiece of dim sum was a whole steamed rock cod. savory and delightful.

there are plenty of dim sum carts, the service was excellent. there are a number of unusual dishes.

if you are adventurous and like chewing on chicken wings, try the chicken feet.

one of the best places to have dim sum on sunday morning. bring your famy or friends, as dim sum is meant to share, and be prepared to wait. the atmosphere is lively, the food is delicious and the prices are fair.

if you're chinese, and you've had dim sum in southern california with your la based relatives, chances are they took you here. nbc is famous amongst the chinese, and for good reason. quality food, and clean atmosphere, there's a guaranteed line out the door during the weekend. their none dim sum menu is just as good. plenty of cantonese classics sure to satisfy even your foodiest of friends.

good, but be prepared to wait. came here on chinese new year a few years ago, but during the lunchtime hours. that was a mistake i found out. i guess, whenever coming to a dim sum place you need to arrive early. i'm not usually an early riser on the weekends so i had no clue what i was in store for that day. so needless to say, we waited for an entire hour to be seated. i think we got there around noon, were seated by one, and managed to leave around 2:30.

i was starved by the time we sat down, but thankfully, i came with a friend who was well versed in dim sum. that was fortunate for me, because when ordering i had no clue as to what came on the carts and trays passing our table. knowing what i like and don't like, my friend was able to order for us. i saw some really interesting things at the other tables that i don't think i'd want to even try. everything we ate was very yummy. i'd never had mango pudding before and a coconut type pudding in a square. and that was really tasty too.

this place is worth a try, but arrive early to avoid the rush. i wouldn't mind coming back, i really like dim sum (i've only been to two places so far) but i'd have to come with someone who knows what to order. otherwise, i'm totally clueless at dim sum restaurants.

there is something to be said about places like this. in the old days, nbc can packed up the place like a sardine can. it was a real hassle to deal with the massive wait time and where the numbers for your table was called out only in cantonese. personall
