after a few visits, i can truely say this place "rocks"!. initial visit i had the stuffed burger, with gorgonzola, jalapenos, caramelized onions and apple. an outstanding meal, which has lead me to try others. whether or not it is calgary's best bugger; i'll leave it up to you - but certainly it belongs on the very short list.

on another visit i order a large poutine with pulled pork, caramelized onions, curds, mushrooms and fresh tomatoes. outstanding and very large. this is not even up for debate. quite simply the best poutine available in calgary! and i've tried virtually everyone's. the gravy is ti die for and all of the ingredients are fresh and plentiful.

good food, if a little expensive. tried the stuffed burger with cheese and sautéed onions. friends had mac n cheese. all was very tasty - a bit of a wait. show up early as seating is very limited.

we finally got to visit naina’s kitchen where they are famous for their stuffed burgers!. for the week of may 6-15 is alberta burger fest where you can enjoy 10, 15 or 20 dollars burgers and vote for your favorite!  naina’s creation is in the $15 category. alberta badass berry burger- stuffed with saskatoon berries, cayenne candied bacon and havarti.  topped with more candied bacon and dressed with lemon zest mint mayo and housemade berry quark

expensive experience with medium quality. ordered the staffed burger with swiss, mushroom and blue cheese. the burger patties were very dry, over cooked, cheese was melting all over the plate and small amount stayed inside the burger.. as a side, ordered donar poutine.. it was good but not for 16$.. the total experience was medium quality and expensive 30$ meal.

over rated ??. my first experience was disappointing, primarily due to the bun which was too large for the patty and definitely on the dry sidei( i ordered the naina's burger}.i will give naina's one more try based solely on their rep, hopefully one of their stuffed burgers will match the hype.

50th anniversary!!!. we celebrated our 50th anniversary at naina's my son and his kids gave us the option to go to teatro and have a stuffy meal, or go to naina's and have a stuffed burger. we made the right choice. the perogy soup was awesome too :-)

nothing special, bad service, will never return. read all the rave reviews, went to check it out. completely opposite of what we expect. thin dry patties, not much taste to it. don't let the picture on the wall fools you. the bun was totally and completely wrong, crust fell apart, the middle part all soggy. absolutely horrible, i end up throwing the bun away and just swallowed down the dry patty and left. as far as service goes, staff just want to get through the line, didn't want to answer any question, let alone recommending any specialty items. told us to stand in a corner for the next table, yet gave away our table to others though we clearly hold the "number sign" ahead of them, both family of four. nothing will make me go back there.

i'm still too full to write a review without thinking about themselves scrumptious and creative food they serve here. naina, where have you been all my life?

if you go, i mean, when you go, be open minded and try new things. the sides are huge, don't be fooled by "half" sizes. crazy specials. didn't know one could stuff burgers this way.

everything is good. the workers are passionate about the place. seeing the place packed at 2pm while the street is fully closed for construction should tell you something. park a block or two away and go eat, you'll need the walk to burp.

worst veggie burger!!!. i've had a lot of veggies burgers and this one was the absolute worst. when i went to remove the excess mayo which was slopped on, i noticed on the underside that the burger was burnt-totally black. when i picked all the charcoal off, all that was left was a smear of mush. when the server came by she offered to get me a new burger but i declined as i did not have time to wait.. when my dining companion was paying he mentioned the quality of the veggie burger. the cook came out and defended her burger saying "that's the way i make them" he asked for a refund and she said we don't give refunds and gave him a card for a return visit for the amount of the burger. no apology! would not go back.

was recommended this place by a playwright/chemistry teacher friend at the local “queen elizabeth high school” (qehs).

anyway, if you like good, solid, meaty food with an "ethnic" twist then this will surely mirror your wildest fantasies! anyone who doesn’t do their duty and give this eatery a nice review should be “banned” for “professional misconduct” :)

not being au courant with gastronomic matters, we appreciated our waitress, with whom we enjoyed a nice chemistry and who was a real star (with a “good sense of humour”), advising us on everything from starter to dessert and drinks. for her, food appreciation was clearly a “science”. she was just as pleasant and attentive to a group of teenage girls sat at the next table as she was to us.

good location, express service, excellent food, clean facilities – consider this review an online chronicle of a perfect meal!

the best burgers and the best people. i love this place. their stuffed burger is one of the best i’ve ever had.
worth a trip even if you have to drive a ways.

nice little place. servers are friendly and attentive. been there a couple times so we would have to say its inconsistent because we had the nanalicios and it was great. fries were fresh and plentiful and burger super juicy. the buffaloes chicken was good. we ordered the veggie burger and it was ok. the burger was small as was the fries. the fry portion was smaller, had some fries that were not cooked thoroughly and some that were not edible. the poutine was really messy. gallon of gravy on not so ok fries. skip the poutine. only order the meat burgers and dont bother with the cheesecake egg rolls. prices are on the high side.

great place with unique stuffed burgers and large portion of poutine or mac and cheese.. i really like the variety of burgers and what's offered on the menu. cool place with great service. 4 stars for the burgers but 3 star for the poutine and 2 stars for the mac and cheese becuase the poutine is very oily and unnecessary to be this oily and way too salty. don't bother with anything else except just burgers which are good but if you want a good quality flavorful burger then there is better choice out there but a col variety of stuffed burgers that i've come twice and left super stuffed myself.. but fyi you will have to wait 30 mins for your burger.

this place is the bomb! i had heard about it and wanted to support 17th ave businesses so i made a specific effort to get here and i am so glad i did!
the restaurant is very clean and pleasant and the service was impeccable.
the food is so damned good and the serving size is not for the feint of heart. i will be back but i will order half of what i had today.
this place is definitely on my dining out radar now - well done!
