great food. good service. nice atmosphere. the #12 rice dish was delicious. the grilled pork and shredded pork skins were awesome. the shrimp paste and bean curd stuffed with shrimp were divine. the baked egg cake was great. loved it!!!

short man waiter. we always get this short little vietnamese guy whom is so rude! i like the female waiters because they are so much nicer. the food is really good but i really can't stand that guy. i try to be nice and smile but he gets my orders wrong and then does not care to change it. place also has a funky smell.

like many vietnamese restaurants, the inside decor is non-existent. it's like eating inside a gas station convenience store with poor lighting and old booths. service is just there - meaning when they have time to get to you, they will. otherwise you wait, and don't complain. my lan serves the local vietnamese immigrant community, and they are all about great food and reasonable prices. the dining experience is not high on their list of priorities. ok with us! mrs. rjg and i were joined by my official mother-in-law known in these pages as chula. i had a bowl of meatball soup, mrs rjg had the grilled beef on vermicelli, and chula had the lemongrass chicken. my bowl was huge, with an excellent broth filled with cilantro and chives. the meatballs were firm and tasty. mrs. rjg's grilled beef was superb, with wonderful charbroiled tastes. and i quite liked the lemongrass chicken sample i tried, which had a nice zip to it.

this is #26 i know it by heart and this is the best rice dish you will ever get. the eggrolls taste very delicious too. i always get this every time i come here (:

best pho i've had in ft. worth not to mention they supply alot more sauces to add to your soup. stay away from the duck pho unless you don't mind bones in your soup, but still delicious. one of the better south eat asian places around. got to be a reason its always packed.

food is excellent.. but not worth the horrible service. i sat for 13 min.. and that's after waiting a few min and started watching my phone to receive a drink order. ( i was 1 of 2 tables.. and the second table left before i was greeted. )
it's delicious food.. but like i said.. sometimes it's not worth the service. vietnamese culture is very rude from what my mom told me.. so it's not intentional on their part.. just their culture

it's ok, service is not friendly. the food was average. would rather go to tu hai which is right down the street!

vermicelli rocks!. my husband and i have been on a search to find the best vietnamese (our fav) food in the ft. worth area. we read about my lan in fw weekly, and decided to give it a try. jackpot - we finally found our favorite place. it's delicious and we can't wait to go back. our pick - chargrilled pork and egg roll vermicelli bowl. great food and great service and great value - you can't beat that.

clean, delicious, will return. was fortunate enough to be guided here by a native vietnamese gentleman. i got #87 shirmp paste and pork rice sticks. basically they give you rice paper that you get lightly wet, then you put some shrimp paste (think shrimp sausage) and pork, plus fresh herbs into the wrapper and roll your own. dip in some fish sauce and you're in a happy place. the crispy fried eggrolls and spring rolls were also great.

similar menu to other local viet places, but very clean and with more diverse crowd. i will definitely return.

my lan my addiction. when i first went to my lan, i thought it was ok. then a friend took me out to eat for a second time. i fell in love with the pho, jasmine green tea, spring and egg rolls. i frequent the place as many times as possible. they know me by name already. give it a try. prices are great!!

spring rolls.... never had a bad spring roll yet at my lan.
tried #35 thinking it was soup, my bad, but loved it.
