mustazzoli ristorante italiano

absolutely horrible service. i have no clue why everyone else rated this restaurant so well. the food was good, but the service overshadowed it. my party of two waited 10 minutes for water and didn't get any bread because the restaurant ran out. we were never asked a drink order, so we drank water all night. to top it off, our appetizer didn't come early, it was served with the meal! it took forever to get the check, and the table next to us never got a check, so they went to the hostess' station to pay.

i always inquire whether desserts are house-made or whether a restaurant gets them from a baker or other source. mustazzoli's insisted that they create all of their own desserts and dishes. the tiramisu tasted even betten than it appears in the photo. if you enjoy tiramisu, i highly recommend trying it at mustazzoli's.

ate dinner there tonight and once again was blown away with the quality,taste and portion size. i had puttanesca and my wife had ragu on linguini. both were extraordinary. we spilt a homemade zablione. incredible is the only way to describe it. we fought over the last bite.
if you have not tried this restaurant i don't know what you are waiting for.

new and recently discovered. a few of my wife and i's best friends gave this place a try on friday the 15th of february and all i can say is wow! the chef came out and said to us "put your menu down and just tell me what you want tonight! what a treat! there was six people and we all got something different. everyone was swapping samples from each other and i kid you not it was all off the chart. great food, awesome service, and very, very reasonable. if you eat here you probably won't go back to rosa's down the street even though they are very good. we are excited about our next trip which will be tonight!

wonderful staff, incredible food. i had chicken with prosciutto, fontina cheese and spinach. i would consider staying away from home one more night just to venture out on the menu. superb!
