we go here frequently since our high school age kids have friends that either work here or hang out on weekends. it's a nice social atmosphere without as much of the bar room feeling ya get from shuckers. the setting is comparable to hanging out on your back patio. we have seen many of our neighborhood friends up here and it seems like a very family friendly place. prices were a but steep a few months ago, but very competitive now. the food quality is probably about a 7/10 for me, so not really mind-blowing good, but not bad either. contrary to a few other reviewers, i find the heat and flavor of their bugs to be just right. i like how the snow crab has a little more cajun kick than crab you get elsewhere too. oh, the small bar has a very good selection too. nice place!!
