impressed!. we stopped by mozart's for it's grand opening last week, but it looked a little crazy, so we decided to come back another time. we came back for dinner tonight with the family. it was busy but we quickly had a table for four. the dinner was delightful! their is a nice wine selection to start with. the service was excellent. the server made sure we were always happy, and was very good about giving choices to some of the picky members of the family ;).

it was also really nice to see the owner there. he stopped by our table, made sure we were enjoying ourselves, and told us a little bit about how he is feeling in the new location. we were really happy to hear how much effort they have put into restoring this beautiful building. and the place speaks for itself - it is spacious, elegant, and combines the historic significance of the building with mozart's own unique ambiance. definitely enjoyed our visit and will be back. we hope that mozart's is successful in its new home!

a must eat sweet treat. i have been dining regularly at mozart's for a few years now and have yet to be disappointed. the atmosphere is comfortable and great for conversation. the peach and apricot plunders, mini cheesecakes, chocolate eclairs, and chocolate chip cookies are among my favorite pastry items at this gem. for breakfast, i recommend any of the omelettes or mozart's breakfast sandwich. the smoked salmon appetizer is the perfect ratio of fresh smoked salmon, cream cheese and toasted baguette. i highly recommend mozart's.

delicious when fresh. i hope they'll stick to fresh goods. i've had some wonderful pastries and others that were dry from having been kept too long. they seem to know how to do things right and the decor is charming and one of a kind. it's a keeper.

love it!!!!. my significant other and i go here a fair bit and we love the food and atmosphere. the food is austrian/german and my significant other (a german citizen) said it's like eating at grandma's house. the pianist who plays in the afternoons and evenings is a delight and the ice cream shop down the street owned by the same people is great for an after dinner treat.

go for the afternoon tea - you won't be disappointed!. i went to mozart's today for the afternoon tea, and it was wonderful! we had a groupon which made it an incredibly good deal although i think it is a decent buy at full price.

we each received our own pot of tea. i had the tasty orange pekoe. first out came a plate of tasty mini scones with devonshire cream. the scones are flaky and buttery, with small fruit (red currants?) in them. the devonshire cream is heavenly! creamy and delicious without being sugary or overly sweet. think americanized clotted cream.

next was a plate full of finger sandwiches, all of which were tasty. my favorite was the smoked salmon in a small pastry-like cup. but all 5 or 6 varieties were good. but the best part of the tea imho was the dessert plate which included a biscoti, a chocolate petit four and (squee!) a marzipan peach.

if you like marzipan, and you haven't been there yet, go to mozart's and have the marzipan peach. i have never had anything like it! yum.

the service was attentive but not overbearing, and we enjoyed the live piano music. overall, it was a lovely experience. i left full but not painfully stuffed.

i don't understand people who try to manipulate the deal that comes with a groupon. companies that offer groupons do not make money off of these deals. be reasonable, people!

whatever your impressions are of mozart’s, their breakfast is certainly worth trying. there’s a good variety to the menu, with plenty of strong choices from sandwiches, croissants, omelets, muesli, waffles, and other specials (not even including the huge line of baked goods), and they welcome their customers well.

just a great place!. i really love this pastry shop. i've never been disappointed with it. one of the best thing about them, i think, is that there is something for everyone. if you want to go to a quiet place and read a book - you can get a cup of coffee and relax quietly. if you want dinner - they are always ready to get you seated and serve you. if you're out with friends, you can get a bottle of wine and a appetizer and stay all night (i would say go for the hummus appetizer - it's delicious!) and if you're just on the run and you need a box of sweets to make the kids at home happy - there's always lots of amazing choices!

…you just can't go wrong with a visit to this bakery. especially if you enjoy quality european baked goods. this slideshow requires javascript. #gallery-1-slideshow .slideshow-slide img { max-height: 410px; /* emulate max-height in ie 6 */ _height: expression(this.scrollheight >= 410 ? '410px' : 'auto'); } the bad: nothing at all…well, i do find it difficult to drive down high street without stopping in for a treat…we definitely live a little too close to this bakery! the final verdict: in addition to bakery items, they also serve food at their clintonville location - we love to

excellent!. i've been visiting mozart's bakery for many many years now...it's actually the only bakery i visit in columbus! one of my favorite tortes is the dobos, takes me back to the café's in budapest. the peach marzipan...out of this world good!

besides excellent bakery items, they also serve food at their clintonville location...we love to visit for breakfast. the omelets are flavorful and filling, croissants are fresh and delicious, the quiche is just perfect and the piano player...most excellent!

i keep coming back year after year because of the quality of the bakery items and the great service! don't forget to check out the newest addition, vienna ice café...wonderful ice cream flavors, gelato, and sorbets...my recommendation, the marzipan peach sundae, get it, you won't be sorry!

ambiance!. love going to mozart's bakery & piano cafe. not only great food (including desserts that are out of this world good!), but, a little classical music from mark on the grand piano. can't beat the ambiance and price of lunch!

even with a whole case full of incredible pastries and sweet treats, these waffles satisfy any sweet tooth. pair that with the friendly staff and eclectic decor at mozart's and your meal is guaranteed to be a pleasant experience.

great european experience. wow! i was introduced to mozart's a few month ago by a friend. i loved the ambiance right away. last weekend i went there with my fiance, who is visiting from germany, and he was so excited about the place, because he said it really reminded him of restaurants back home. they also got some new desserts since i was last there, mostly a variety of roulades. i tried the one with strawberry and champagne and it was really delicious. my fiancee had a mint mousse and also enjoyed it. the only negative thing i can say is that it was a bit crowded - but i guess we were there during the busiest part of the day. mark also loved the piano player, he turned out to be really friendly, and he sure knows his classics! overall - bravo mozart's!
