my one and only visit to the mother, was a sunday night, right after kermit had purchased it. treme brass band was playing. they had free red beans and rice..so maybe it was monday! they were delicious and cooked by kermit himself. he was there, mingling with customers and locals. it is a very fun place to catch some live music, and visit with some very friendly folk from the treme!
