extremely poor carry out food service. terrible communication with management and owner. my experience with this careless restaurant was outstandingly horrible. the food tasted fine, but the way the restaurant chooses to serve their food is obviously motivated by cutting as many corners to spend the least money. first, i ordered five sushi orders, all which were tightly packed together to fit into one to-go tray (see attached photos). these five sushi rolls were separate orders for three people. one of these three people can not eat mayonnaise which was an ingredient in one of the the sushi rolls thus prohibiting them from eating the food they had paid for. when i addressed this issue the manager and owner told me it was my responsibility to ask for separate to-go containers for each order. also, each order of sushi should have come with wasabi and ginger but instead, cutting corners, this restaurant chooses to put one serving of wasabi and ginger in one small container together, unable to separate the ginger from wasabi. to continue my compliant i had ordered two house salads and the dressing for both salads were different colors, not sure what was different about them i asked the management and they could not tell me what the difference in color was... what??? next i ordered two miso soups but i was not given spoons, forks, or napkins, and when i asked why i was not given these necessary items to eat my food the management and owner told me it was my job to request silverware.. again what??? never had i been cheated out of my money like i had when i ordered to-go food from this stupid restaurant.

the sushi was okay. the service was abysmal. the restaurant was understaffed, our order was incorrect, and it took them over an hour to serve us. there are a number of good sushi places in columbus, pass on moshi sushi.

i ordered take out from moshi. after calling a few times and not getting through due to the phones not being properly charged i drove over to place my order. i ordered the spicy tuna & spicy salmon rolls. the rolls were extremely small proportion & the quality was below par. i do not thinkit was worth the time, effort & money i spent.

bad service and mediocre food. worst sushi experience ever. placed an order for two different items that cost 18 bucks. order came in one container with one set of chopsticks and 5 pieces of sushi. upon calling to complain, the hostess blew me off and the manager explained to me that they usually try to fit as much sushi as possible into one contact unless specified otherwise. completely unapologetic and the sushi was nothing special. i will never return. sushi en at polaris is where you should go if you want great service and great food.

one of our favorites. we love the classic and the creative sushi rolls at moshi. the servers are always welcoming and courteous. great patio for sitting outside on the corner of main and parkview on nice days.

laughably bad. if you want to feel like you're in an episode of a gordon ramsey show, dine at moshi. if you want dinner with reasonably timely service, go somewhere else. when our party of eight sat down, there were only two other tables of two people each in the restaurant. they had both already been served. there were eight people on staff at the restaurant - four servers, two sushi chefs, one head chef, and one bartender. one of my guests ordered something not on the menu - mixed tempura as a main. after 15 minutes of waiting, the head chef came out of the kitchen, gathered all 4 servers (young ladies in their 20s), and berated them for 10 minutes on how they should not allow people to order things no on the menu. this all happened less than 15 feet from our table. unbelievable. our first main course arrived 45 minutes after ordering. the next three arrived 10 minutes later. the next four arrived 10 minutes after that. if you're not into math, that means by the time all main courses had arrived after one hour, the first four were cold. the servers were absolutely great and apologized profusely. the head chef was off chatting with a friend.

moshi is an upscale sushi joint in bexley that offers contemporary takes on rolls as well as pan-asian fare from korea, thailand and japan. it adds a nice touch to the bexley dining scene. this restaurant is a collaboration between bexley resident moshe "moshi" mizrachi and the father-and-son team of song and david kim. it gives bexley a modern asian spot in a similar style to lemongrass or nida's in the short north. the staff at moshi sushi bar addressed vegetarian concerns appropriately. the menu doesn't

sushi was good for columbus, but with a high price tag. kitchen food was better than average as well, but also with a high price tag. for me, quality correlates with price and that food would be awesome if it was cheaper. if i'm paying those prices, i want to be blown away. i've had the same level of food in japan for less than $30 that i payed $90 for at moshi. i know we aren't in japan, but that price difference is really big. with that being said, i think that a lot of people will be amazed with the food here. it is really good if you don't think about money.
