1st timer to moon rise. i found this cafe while searching the lakewood area. so we went there for lunch/breakfast today. good parking, fast service, portions are way to large. next time we will split something. my hash browns were piled high and i could not finish the large sausage patty. the homemade biscuit was huge and tasty. the clam chowder was an 8+. we give the cafe a 9.

this place is delicious! we will definitely be regulars here. no complaints. i did have to ask for real butter for the giant biscuit, but they do have it! very generous portions...yummmmm.

great reuben sandwich. don't get the salad, i got a pile of green leaves with not much else, pretty boring, but the sandwich was awesome, as was everything else that was ordered. great cup of tea, (i'm english, that's important), and wonderful service too, we liked the waitress. :)

food was excellent in quality, quantity and taste. they also have plently of healthy options. the price was very affordable and the service quick and good. i will definitely eat here again!

reeaaaly good breakfast! very generous portions. the staff was extremely attentive. i had the smoked salmon lovers sramble- delicious! and my husband had the veggie scramble with a side of bacon- we decided we will definitely be back!

fantastic breakfast and lunch spot. every time i go in here, i feel like i'm right at home. it's a warm environment with artwork on the walls and locals chatting away over morning (fair trade!) coffee, eggs, homemade hash browns or a plate of salad greens with homemade dressings like basil italian or raspberry vinaigrette (my personal favorite). they even hand-form the sausage and bake scones and little loaves of bread! service is speedy and welcoming. always a joy to come here.

the best eggs benedict around the sound. if you want great food, great service, and great prices, this is the place.
it's hard to find people in the restaurant business that actually care about the food and service down to the finest detail. it might be a little hectic at times, but it's only because they have a loyal following. you won't be disappointed!
