worst beverages i ever drink!!!
#pinacoloda #chocolate shake. but staffs are polite. chefs should change. they should serve quality food according to the price. in pinacoloda they are using canned pineapple juice. it was so sour. and the chocolate shake was like water... i was totally upset.

friendly staff, pleasant settings, the buffets are a crowd pleaser.
cakes could be improved and move away from sugar soaked creations. desserts need a tweak considering this is a marriott brand.
all other foods are well done. filter coffee could improve in preparation.

i went to momo cafe with my friends nice place to visit the most what we like was momo club sandwich the staff was very polite and courteous thanks to kangan for helping us will soon visit again

update august '2018 - we had dinner and breakfast on two days as part of the half board plan included in our stay. since it's been couple of years since we're visiting again, i really didn't know what to expect, considering that the entire team had changed. but as we found out, change is sometimes good :)

the service here is exceptional. we started with dinner the first day and happened to meet mr jibin and chef akash. i merely inquired about the lack of meat on the menu, and chef akash decided to overload us with mutton biriyani and superb mutton shahi with garlic naan, that i actually was disappointed because i got so stuffed that i couldn't really foray the buffet. that said, i still did sample the buffet and i was happy. the menu is predominantly north and south indian, with freshly grilled non-veg items and breads, and a decent selection of continental options that truly impressed me (just when i actually began to believe that continental food in kerala would never catch up). my kids also had loads of fun as the were served amazing penne pasta in cheesy white sauce, and jessy really spoilt by getting them ice cream milkshakes with whatever flavor they asked. the next day we were served by chef bushan, and though i was extremely careful by not raising any questions, the past caught up with me as they had already prepared some wonderful kerala style beef fry for us. the buffet was yet again superb, with the continental dishes truly standing out for me. i even got to speak to chef ritu who was mostly in charge of the continental food, and though i merely commended her for the amazing food she prepared, she decided to cook me some mushroom risotto. wow!! i was absolutely overwhelmed, especially since it was prepared without parmesan. so guys, if you're looking for good continental food, chef ritu is your contact.

breakfast is a busy affair, with all the usual options, and you also get live appam, dosa and egg counters. you get freshly made pancakes and waffles for the kids too, with a whole lot of toppings. even though it's busy, the service is very personalised and at it's best. they even offer you a small take away kit, in case your in a rush to catch a flight or something.

overall, i couldn't praise this restaurant enough. the service alone is worth 5 stars, but they've topped it up with excellent food to match. a big thanks to jibin, the chefs and all the superb service staff here that sets this place apart from the rest.

april '2016 - had breakfast and dinner here as part of our stay in april 2016.

set at the far end of the lobby, this place has a very relaxed pace. the service is impeccable, i have never seen any hotel in india where staff go out of their way to provide service to their guests. mr. roshan was very helpful throughout (he even gave us the cake that i ordered from them complimentary knowing it was my wife's birthday), but service staff truly deserve a good round of applause. chef ashley also was quite accommodating, despite being very busy, he took his time out chat with us and cater to our special needs.

coming to the food, it's quite a spread from starters to dessert. quality food, prepped and served well.

yes, it's expensive, it's part of an international 5star hotel brand, so forget value for money, though it is great value for the money spent.

would definitely love to come back here soon.

mango curry dish with appam is must try. one may prefer the buffet as well you get to try several dishes which just taste yum. i would suggest traveller to try it.

when beer is poured into a plastic glass at the courtyard marriott, one would like think twice whether the place is worth to be reviewed. so if you wish to have a drink, they will place you right outside the momo cafe as though its a punishment for choosing to drink. and as we spoke about it, the rains came down, the umbrellas couldn't take the down pour. so we moved into the cafe and asked for our bill to checkout right away. no one ever asked nor offered us a seat inside. we had a look at the buffet served seems to be average. place looks neat. apparently, there is a bar on the 2nd floor but that wasn't told when we enquired at the reception before we chose momo. good place for a family dine out.

stayed at courtyard by marriott for a day. as i was too tired after reaching the hotel i decided to order for room service and the food was delicious and was delivered to the room within 30 mins. the staff are very polite and helpful.

we stayed there during transit and loved the experience. everyone is superbly courteous and helpful. the sunday brunch was simply amazing. it is the best brunch i have ever had. a big thanks to their wonderful team.

special mention to roshan and his team  at momos  ,i loved the way they took care of everyone with smile, which was very pleasing. had a very nice experience over all with special mentioned to their prompt service.

extremely sub par food. i ordered a marriot burger which turned out to be overcooked and cold while served.

as part of my stay in courtyard,the dinner and breakfast was done from this place. dinner was awesome with multiple options to select from in the buffet. staff is really very friendly and went out of the way and served us chicken chilly which was not in the menu. chicken chilly was just perfect , can say one of the best i had till now. tried almost all the dishes in buffet and each one of them was good. fish in oyster sauce with vegetable fried rice is mild and yet pleasing to your tongue .

as my expectations were so high after the yummy dinner , breakfast did disappoint me a bit. don't know why but salt was less in everything i tried from sambhar to omlete and batata wada.

the rating of 4 for dinner and -0.5 for breakfast and +0.5 for the friendly staff.

we opted for ala carte dinner here. the service was good and food was nice. the staff takes very good care and ensured comfort. only thing is it's little costly as compared to other options.

had a breakfast buffet before my flight. its a better option to refill the tummy rather than having bland airline food... the breakfast is definitely typical to any 5 star hotel (this is only a 4 star hotel). but the taste was simply great enough....

the breakfast was mix of kerala, indian and western varieties. their kerala dishes requires a standing ovation. rarely we get such authentic nadan taste in 5 star hotels. the chutney for idlly/dosa is so typical that it reminds of home made kind. may be for outsiders, the spice levels could be higher. but perfect to malayalee tastebuds. the masala dosa is really spot on...  so as vada... its well cooked, really crisp from outside.

the good part is that, all juices are freshly made upon orders. so don't expect chilled juices or smoothies. but i feel, its more healthier than those prepared earlier and kept in chillers or juicers. they have displayed the fruits in front of us and when we say which fruit, they prepare in front of us. if you wish for cocktail, its your choice of fruits.

the cheese omelet was okay kind of it. nothing special. so as the cheeses onboard was also average. but its okay, as in kerala not everyone are followers to specialty cheese for breakfast.

overall, for more value to the money spent. its definitely expensive, but the value is much above...  infact, if planning to have food in airport food court, i would suggest to have more better one from here than in airport....

the ambience is good but people trust me,the food. it's just pathetic. do not go. like it doesn't have the standard of a normal bakery. the milkshake wasn't cold. the sandwich was just two pieces of white bread with some sausage masala. not even fries with a sandwich for which they charged me around 300 bucks.

momo cafe gave me the best experience by far with its explicit ambience, timely and professional services especially by their loyal staffs who had served us diligently mr.prathap,tanooja,santhosh and nonetheless with its novel creative trend using local ingredients displaying elegant mouthwatering set platter dishes, whereby my favourite being the roti and tandoori chicken.in a nutshell, it's an authentic restaurant to dine in at any time of the day or night with food delivered in a fashionable traditional pace and i would highly recommend to all as it's prices are definitely value for money and indeed personally looking forward soon to my next stop over at momo cafe
