there’s no shortage of authentic indian food to be found in abu dhabi – but @moksh.uae took the spotlight by taking things up to next level with their décor, theatrics, molecular gastronomy and inventive international twists that i experienced personally last eve.
at this elegant restaurant located @conradetihadtowers , the cuisine spans the breadth and width of india, touching on many of its states with a menu of regional classics presented in fine-dining style. while the ambience is infused with india through artefacts, the aroma of the tandoor wafting from the open kitchen and live music , the menu is split into vegetarian and non-veg, classic and contemporary, and even set menus of varied spice levels. along the way, you’ll find interesting twists like a mushroom pepper fritti served in the shape of a big mushroom , desi indian tacos served by the name of seekh tacos and renowned signature dishes such as dynamite prawn which is coated by edible activated charcoal. the best part is that all the props used in even presentation were edible.isn’t that amazing ??
if you’ve room for dessert, then matka kulfi served in different exotic flavors (specially pan and rose flavors) is a must. i have found my soul dessert too called “date halwa pudding” which i could not resist though i am not a dessert person at all but oh my god that flavor was impeccable.
