old days. this restaurant used to be the best price in town. get a few loyal customers and they double there price. was a mokes fan till they started charging me cinnamon prices! hungary for breakfast pay the same price at cinnamons and get a better atmosphere with no sunburn and way better food. good luck with service at both places at least cinnamon's got an excuse(cause there always busy)!

this menu is endless and their daily muffins are worth asking about. we chose to sit outside and even with the light tropical rain splashing on the awning it was wonderful. great staff. bathrooms are outside, one to the side and another past that one around the corner. do not park in the lot across the street. moke's has warning signs, take heed you will be towed no matter how empty the lot looks, don't. street parking. check website for hours and day of the week they are closed

i had the omelette with the banana pancakes on the side (more like "share"cakes). they were huge! my husband and i split the order of pancakes and still couldn't finish it all after my omelette and his french toast. but nonetheless, they were the best pancakes that i've probably ever had!

rabbit moco was very good and i normally am not a fan of loco moco dishes. glad i ventured out and tried it! their honey biscuits were also good.

overall, we rather enjoyed moke’s. the pancakes were great, the lilikoi sauce pleasant, and the sausage nice and flavorful. add in a friendly and efficient staff, and it’s one of the better places to go for breakfast in kailua.

the food is delicious .... wouldn't have found the place with out urbanspoon !!! tried the loco moco, corn beef hash, pancake special !!! all delicious

if it didn't take so darn long to get our breakfast i would have a little higher recommendation for moke's but it was not busy at all and still took over 30 min to get our food (had to flag down the waiter and ask to get water refilled about 3 times during this period). food was good but not worth the wait. the ham was delicious and the hashbrowns were nice and crispy but it wasn't anything too acceptional. like i said, if the wait wasn't so long, may have had a better experience. all in all i'd give it another chance but if service was as slow i wouldn't return again

once upon a time this place was really good, not so true anymore. the loco moké was salty and chewy, and the honey butter biscuits were tough. it no longer a definate must it a don't bother.

great breakfast. steak and eggs, #3 sunrise special, corned beef hash and eggs, pancakes made from scratch, a waffle smothered in peaches and icecream or hot cinnamon-apples..........that's all you need to know.
this place is truly one of a kind. great food, great service, great prices. and i love that it is family-run. such a homey, comfortable atmosphere. if you don't like long lines, don't go on a sunday! it's totally worth the wait, but you'll have better luck getting a table quick if you go on a weekday. this place is packed for a reason.

over rated. geeze, i don't know why people are raving about this place. i mean it's decent, but to wait in the hot sun and be served by less than par waiters, then wait 30 minutes for your food doesn't exactly make me want to go back there again.

awsome!!! this place is probably the best place i have eaten at on vacation. anyone that is near moke's should definately stop by.

wonderful service, excellent food, easy parking. i had the banana pancakes, eggs and ham. all cooked perfectly and all great!

best breakfast in kailua--- the last reviewer was right. great service, selection and portions. parking is easy and you get seated fast. the fresh baked bread us ono!
