04-01-16, had dinner here with my wife. the place was busy but not crowded. small groups were seated immediately and large groups had wait times. the place was clean and our waitress was very attentive.
the majority of the food we had was good, with only a few items being bland and/or inedible. the food had good variety, was well stocked, and well managed. whats also nice is being able to see the food being prepared/cooked in plain view.
we are both seafood lovers and were not disappointed. the sushi selection and quality is great for being a buffet. they also had poke, sashimi, raw oysters in the half shell which were very good. we skipped a lot of the typical buffet stuff like fried rice, lo mein noodles, fried butterflied shrimp, general tso chicken etc. what stood out was the sushi, poke, lobster claws, snow crab, raw oysters in the half shell, crayfish, fried shrimp with heads on, greens, and i was actually really impressed by the prime rib. the prime rib was well done (i prefer bloody) but it was still very tender, well seasoned, kind of fatty, and juicy.
i would eat here again in a heart beat and recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood and prime rib.
