not entirely impressed. a few things:
1. it is very loud in here because they cram you in. we sat at a 4-person table butted up against a second 4-person table, so it was as if we were eating with the strange family next to us.
2. service seems like a hit-or-miss. the family next to us came in about 10 minutes after we did. they received their drinks and miso soup before our waiter even took our order. we saw their waitor about every few minutes constantly checking on them, where our waiter was never to be seen after he dropped off our food - not even to follow up to make sure everything looked right. my dad had ordered tempura shrimp roll, they brought him tempura shrimp - we told them it was the wrong item, and a different woman showed up to give him the same thing; we quit trying to argue at that point. my dad and i ordered rolls while my sister ordered a bento; my dad and i were halfway through our meal before my sister ever received her box.
3. the sushi was okay, nothing worth bragging about. having said that, they did have a very large quantity of specialty rolls, and i like that. i also felt the rolls were borderline too big. the point of a sushi roll is to be able to eat one piece in one bite, and i found myself struggling to do this.
4. i felt prices were really great. everything on the west coast is incredibly more expensive than the midwest, yet the prices in the menu were comparable to ohio prices.
