known as the best restaurant in maryland, miss shirley's cafe draws a line for their breakfast. they have an extensive menu with regional specialties highlighting the list. i had the southern slammer sandwich, which was made of fried green tomatoes, egg, and guacamole on rye bread. it was best paired with the grits, which was unbelievably creamy. the sandwich was completely filling and unique. their french toast specialities looked fantastic, so i'll have to try them on another visit! the service itself was fantastic. i had a wonderful server who was quick to tend to me. the food was made quickly to order, so i didn't have to wait too long after sitting down. it's the perfect place to grab breakfast with friends and family. the large booths and extensive restaurant are perfect for larger parties.
