it’s a michelin star restaurant, ranking 52 in the world. it’s not just some dinner, it is culinary excellence.
our first visit was a 6pm reservation - their opening hour. our second visit was a last minute phone call reservation for two. they reserved us a table. and we happened to have the same waiter.
the service is amazing. the food is amazing. yes, it is expensive. but definitely worth the pleasure that your tastebuds experience.
ingredients are from selected locations in turkey. they take international tastes and create it with turkish touch. they take turkish tastes and create it with an international touch.
with a twist of fate, my third course dessert’s sorbet had a surprise in it for me - a piece of plastic! we did not make a scene, obviously and asked our waiter to find out where it came from. the managers (i believe) tried to investigate it but couldn’t determine its source. they offered us to pick any dessert - on the house - but we were already full. they made a 20% discount, apologizing for the incident.
despite the surprise, it is still our favorite place in town. we would definitely go again for special occasions.
