mike's pizza and donair

i have planned to someday order from this and try their signature donair. we added a
pizza and we were happy with that choice.
donairs are an east coast staple and includes a nam type bread wrapped around shaved gyro type shaved beef onions and special donair sweet sauce. everyone should try one. they are messy-a 2 napkin meal- but extremely good.
the pizza was heavy with generous amounts of toppings and cheese. definitely one of the best we have had.
i should mention we opted for delivery and were told it might be 45 minutes or even a few minutes more - it arrived in 35.
good experience. will definitely return.

for any east-coasters that truly want to find a genuine traditional tasting halifax donair this is the place! real spicy donair meat, not lamb or gyros meat and the authentic tangy and sweet donair sauce served with chopped onions and tomatoes on a pita.

first place i have ever had a donair in london that i could not tell i was in halifax!!

good value too especially when you add a greek salad to counteract the "health benefits" of the donair!

i'd give 10 stars if i could! 5.99 for a medium pizza and pop!!! staff super cool looks like a family run kinda place :) tip for people ordering from here be a bit more patient then dominos it'll get to ya good things take a bit of time also skip the extra cheese these things come loaded already :)

honestly i was afraid to try this place again for it has switched owners numerous times. but these new owners have me coming back everytime! great pizza guys!

being from ns donair is my all time fav food,but i havnt been home in years ,i left in 90 to join the army would always have donairs when i was on leave but that was along time ago i have lived all over canada and have never found donairs like home well all that changed tonight my wife drove all the way across london after work and then home to strathroy just so i could try a mikes donair and it was outstanding,it was so good i wanted to get back in the car drive back to london to get another one great job mike and crew and the great thing is i have to be in london tommrow lol,guess i will have to stop by mikes for lunch.

best donair this side of the maritimes. donair sauce is fantastic, super messy meal but worth the delicious sticky clean up. pizza is also good, not my favourite style as i prefer windsor style pizza but no question that they have a big following for their pizza.

best pizza in the city!. mike and his family make the best pizzas in the city. extra bonus is the customer service from mike is always spectacular!

i placed a order here and i got the worst service in my life. coming from the east coast i missed one, i had a small complication on my phone and i guess i missed the guy by five mins. so i called the pizza shop back and the lady who takes the orders had a nasty attitude about the misunderstanding, she told me that she wasn't sending my order anymore, so i was cool with that then she calls back telling me she was going to send the driver. half an hour goes by and i decided to call and see where my food was and the woman was yet again having a nasty attitude with me saying she was tired of us calling and making fake orders. i told her it was my first time calling them she said i wasn't allowed to order here again and hung up the phone. i don't recommend anyone ordering from there because the service the lady gave me was horrible plus it was super expensive as well compared to the other places. don't order from this place ever!!!

great quality, quantity. that's mikes in a nut shell. the price of discount pizza places but more toppings and better quality ingredients making for a better pizza.

this gem is a little hidden but makes the best pizza i've had in this city however, there is no website or online menus so i took pictures of them and posted them here.

first donair ever and it was amazing. im officially hooked. i went home added sriracha red rooster hot sauce and it made it 10 times better. cant wait to try the pizza and wings

wow killer pizza. lots of cheese and quality ingredients. try it one and you will not go anywhere else. try the donair sauce as dipping for the pizza. mmmmm

amazing. i've been to mikes a few times now. i love east coast styled donairs. mikes a super friendly guy and the donairs are authentic and awesome. the price is fair as well. the fries however are not good. that said still highly recommended.

awesome donair!. being from the east coast of canada, i have had my share of donairs. in london, i tried it only at one other pizza / donair place and it was terrible. after reading the reviews, i finally caved and tried this place on the weekend. mike's is located in a little strip plaza (blink and i would have missed it). i did not really know what to expect. but once i took my first bite, i declared that it was the best donair i had in a long time! the meat was juicy and there was so much of it, the pita was tender, the sauce was tasty and the veggies were fresh. i cannot believe all this food was only $5.99 plus tax. here is my only warning - it can be messy, so make sure you have plenty of napkins (i did not and the sauce dripped on my car seat and my car smelled liked a donair for days - not that i am complaining). i have recently decided to eat less meat but when i get a craving, i will certainly go to mike’s for a donair.

donairs!!!!!!. 1st time i heard of mike's pizza & donairs was here one urbanspoon!!!! after i read the reviews i was intrigued and couldn't get them out of my head!!! so i drove across the city to try the 5 star donair!!! as soon as we ordered the owner asked if i have ever had a donair from the east coast....... i said yes!!!! he said well these are just like them!!!! i said i'll be the judge of that!!!!! guess what........... awsome!!!!!! if you want a great donair that taste like home you have to check this place out!!!!!!!! plus you won't be dissapointed with not just the great food but the service a1!!!!!!!
