love this place. one of the best asian buffets around. ive taken a couple friends here and they all agree with me.

well, for a buffet it was better than most that i've been to. the sushi was good for what it was, granted this is not a high end sushi place. there was plenty of variety in all the items presented. would i come back? the short answer is yes, but i wouldn't any time soon. it's a good value for your dollar, come hungry and stuff yourself.

best buffet in federal way, wa. food was delicious. love their sushi selection. you'll get your money's worth definitely. paid $11.99 for lunch on a monday.

happy new year! today :$30.95!. i didn't make the title up, but this is really how they do business. i've been a customer of main japanese buffet ever since they grand opened. i have also left good reviews about them on other web sites. however, i regret doing so. they have really disappointed me. the food quality is getting worst and worst each time i go there, and the customer service is getting worst and worst. i remember the last time i went there, the manager set us up the table, and limited us to one and a half hour of dinner time. we asked for the reason and he said "oh because i have a lot of customers". i considered that rude. and the waiters don't like to greet for some reason, and they are not providing good customer services. and don't be fooled with their lobsters. their lobsters are almost meat-less and the shell is hard as hell so you can't get the meat out. and there you go, 30 bucks?! one time i tried their lobsters and those were uncooked. and their tuna sashimi was not fresh.

come on main japanese buffet, just because you are getting a lot of business that doesn't mean you can relax. keep it up!

awsome place. ya know kids i do love a good buffet. been to enough ..lol ok ill get to the point. this place rocks a great selection of different types of sushi. plus some pretty good salmon and tuna sashimi. they have the usual crab selection, but if your lucky alot of times they also have king crab. the list can go on and on. the bottom line is head out in your car and come on down to a really good asian buffet.

can't wait to get back!!. we are former w seattle residents now living in colville. as good as some of the restuarants are here....we are truly missing our favorite japanese buffet! a hint.....you could open a second location....it would be jammed!

we are heading to the coast next weekend and have plans and invitations to our friends and family to meet us at main japanese buffet saturday afternoon.....and you never know, we might go back again sunday too!

the food is diverse, fresh, and really economical if you were to consider the other options. spacious, clean, and fairly welcoming.

can't wait...our mouths are watering!!

to all the people whi have nothing else better to do but give the best buffet in washington a bad reveiw bleep u all. this buffet is by far the best buffet ive ever ate at,puts any and every buffet under the table.as a matter of fact im gonna have them cater for my wedding,,very very good food ,service and clean place to eat once again screw everyone who talks crap about the main japanese buffet

fyi fyi. food in this buffet is more qualified than the others and the price is not okay.i 'm the big fan of this buffet since 5 months ago, i always come on the weekend with my family. two weeks ago i came around 2pm and we try to go one and a half hours, because we know they have time limit we understand that.that time when my father would pay to register our server named he / hee (i do not know how to spell his name) intercept my dad in front of the guests with a loud voice, i knew that if the server also the cash register, but my dad would make reservation for my son's birthday. and my dad tells the server that we want to make a reservation and pay our bill at front, but he grumbled with his" effing" language, it is not polite at all, where their manners as a server, and when he spoke his mouth smell was overpowering(really bad), fyi i used to be a server 10yrs ago and as a server i know how to keep my neatness and cleanliness.
overall i never come back to this buffet anymore if he still working there even though i really like the food.
to other visitors if you come ,requests not to seat at his section.
to the manager please teach your server, i known there are good server at your place but the guy i mentioned before is really nasty and dirty

good service & food. being in a wheelchair, i found the arrangement somewhat crowded and hard to move around in. one needs to get there early or have a long wait.

the food was very good with a nice selection of dishes both hot and cold. service was friendly and prompt and the food items were kept thoroughly supplied.

definitely worth the price!

really pleased. i thought the food was very good. i had no complaints at all. the service was great. dirty plastes picked up right away. the food could have been a little hoter. where else can you get frog legs? first time eating there and hope not to be the last. i went around 5pm on a sat. and had to wait about 10 minutes. i told everyone on fb what i thought of it, they all want to go!!!

nice buffet with lots of seafood. sushi, sashimi, and much more. price is very reasonable at $18 per person. service is good too. waiters asked to take away dishes frequently even several times while we were still at it.

should be one of best buffets in seattle area. lots of people waiting in line before 6pm.

overall good (though some bad). i have to say the service here was slow for us. the waitstaff seemed harried, and we had to be a little pushy to have them get us our check and refill our drinks. still, regarding the food, it's probably the best value japanese buffet i've been to in the seattle area (now that todai has packed up and disappeared). the salmon they used for the sushi was good, the buffet boasted a reasonable variety of asian cuisine, and the desert area includes a selection of ice cream.
