this place is great! it gives lebanese taverna and mama ayesha's a real run for the money.

yummy food, warm atmosphere, not too froo-froo. great date eatery. save room for some baklava.

very good. my friends usually get lamb and it is as good as some of the afghan places that charge quite a bit more for it. its not fatty or gristley. the rice is perfectly cooked. the eggplant parmigian is some of the best--not deluged with sauce and a good italian taste in this "middle eastern" restaurant.
the appetizers are great--there's a fried eggplant or zucchini, v. light, w/sauce.

holy hummous!. i have been dining at this restaurant for over 10 years. it is a no frills,family run,great little eatery that you would probably pass on by,not really noticing it. food is good.staff is friendly.very reasonable prices.clean and some weekends you may catch a belly dancer! whats not to like? very typical takoma park atmoshere. yum, spadoukie
