ever since i saw this place included in the best cheesecake collection here in zomato, i've been looking forward to try their cheesecakes. and oh boy, they surely don't disappoint. we tried their mango cheesecake and avocado pie. first, the presentation is eye-catching (as you can see from the photos). second, the cheesecake is so creamy and light, i can see why it's in the best cheesecake collection. the mangoes in this cheesecake are found at the top and in the middle. the avocado pie is so good, as well. i can say that they use fresh ingredients in their pastries. i plan to taste every cheesecake they have! haha

i would also like to commend their staff. 5/5 on service! the one who took our orders was very patient. one of the servers brought a pitcher and was ready to refill our glasses of water (which were not even nearly empty) even though we didn't ask for it. i'm not sure but i think the owner was the one behind the cash register. everyone is so courteous. i don't know if 5/5 is overrated but i've been to other small cafes/shops that have mediocre service so yeah.

a small and quaint cafe located near parklane hotel. they're known for their cheesecakes and pasta dishes. we tried their mango cheesecake, new york cheesecake, blueberry cheesecake, and the micky's special pasta.
i liked the mango cheesecake the best. it's one of their topsellers. the pasta was super creamy and portions are good for sharing.
best to time to visit is during the odd hours. place is super small.

food - 4.5/5
we went here just to have some desserts and it didn't fail us. the cheesecakes were wonderful, it was not that sweet yet it was very creamy and tasty. the coffee my friend ordered was delicious as well as my red apple tea which you can ask for refills.

service - 4/5
the guy taking our order was very patient as we were having a hard time choosing from all those mouth watering cakes. he also suggested some of the best tea and coffee.

venue - 4/5
ambience was very nice, it gives you a feeling that you're at home relaxing ang having a nice cup of coffee/tea. parking space is also not a problem.

please take note this cafe is no longer located in escario street, but now a part of mahogany place shopping area.

you walk in and staff seem less than enthusiastic, but when i saw that the poular items were strawberry shortcake and avocado pie, i had to give it a try.

the strawberry shortcake can be deemed average based in western stabdards, but take into consideration that your are in cebu, philippines its the best one bere. as far as avocado pie, i didnt think i would like it, but for some reason it had right flavor, texture, and sweetness that made me a fan.

i plan to try other pastries in future visits.

micky's is now located at the mahogany place in mabolo (where charcoal boy, seared, bicester cafe are located). i did not get the chance to try when they were still located near parklane so my friends and i decided to taste their cakes. the service crew was accommadating in sharing what their best sellers were because we were confused on what to order. we got to try the rare chocolate cake, new york cheesecake, and strawberry shortcake.

rare chocolate cake - i liked the texture and how the cake was not that sweet considering that it's chocolate. it's different from other chocolate-flavored cakes which makes it good.

new york cheesecake - it tastes different from the other cheesecakes too which makes it good.

strawberry shortcake - i am not a fan of strawberry-flavored food so i did not appreciate it much but my friends liked it very much.

there were five of us and we paid for p97.00 each for all three cakes. not bad. we'll be back to taste the rest of what they have to offer.

they’re located at mahogany place now. i really loved their old location because it gave a “street side cafe in paris” vibe. it was very petite and cozy 😌

we ordered the tuna sandwich, micky’s special pasta & the mango cheesecake! servings are big (1-2 people; we were 3!) so the prices were actually not bad. everything we ordered was soooo good! micky’s special, their best seller, was surprisingly so yummy! it was perfectly spiced! if you can’t decide between a red sauce pasta or a white, try this dish! the tuna sandwich was yummy, too. there was a generous amount of (delicious) tuna & filling veggies. i heard their desserts were their specialty so we tried the mango cheesecake. we certainly didn’t regret trying this cake because it was soooo good!! it was the perfect balance of sweet & savory. lots of real mango fruit with a yummy graham base. would def come back to try their other good lookin desserts! 😋 on the down side, i wished more menu items were available. most of the choices weren’t available. however, the ambience was very homey! there were lots of japanese decor & cute knick knacks - really reminded me of gift shops in japan! micky’s offered quick service & their wait staff were highly knowledgeable of the menu items. don’t be afraid to ask a few questions if you got any! super happy with micky’s!!! can’t wait to go back❣️

tried out their new location in mahogany. the place is a bit modernized compared to their old spot but the food is still the same.
during my visit i tried a slice of rare chocolate cake and pair it with a hot peppermint tea which was just refreshing.
the teacup was classic and stylish.
the cake was delicious and not too sweet which was good. it was a huge slice of chocolate heaven. the only thing that was weird was the chocoshavings on the cake, it tastes good but it had a weird texture. but overall it was a cake i can eat all over again.
will surely be back to try out the rest of their best seller cakes and pasta.

i have been visiting this cake shop for quite some time, but i often just grab a cup of coffee matched with cakes (especially their strawberry shortcake!). it was my first time last week to order dish there. my friend and i ordered the omurice, and was actually the first time to have eaten the japanese traditional egg dish. and it was good! some of our friends ordered different kinds of pasta, and so far i’ve come to like their basil pasta. #japanese

worth. every. penny.

one of the best dessert places here in cebu! they have a variety of cakes to choose from. prices per slice is around php 150; whole cakes are around pho1,200. banana cream pie and avocado cake: must trys in this cafe. no regrets! they have a new branch by mabolo. this branch is already closed.

5/5 staff and service.
10/5 cakes!!
