just ok, nothing amazing. i don't understand why people rave about this place. i'll gladly wait for good food, but 30 minutes later i could tell it wasn't worth it. service was a little rude.

would have eaten here but they wouldn't take my order over the phone. too busy. i wanted to pay cash. apparently you have to go there to order if you want to pay cash and wait 20 minutes for your food. i don't have that kinda time. get they won't be getting my business!

first, we absolutely love the thick cut steak fries. not fresh but still enjoyable. we did not find the strawberry lemonade particularly tasty. service is fast and friendly.

we tried the karma and the habanero burgers. both were served well done. rolls are fresh but overpowering compared to the amount of beef in the hand formed patty. sauces and toppings are tasty. we would not rank these burgers among the best we have had. overall a 3/5 - and the fries helped to secure our thumbs up. we would try other places before returning.

i am willing to bet that there is not a restaurant in oc that has not been helped by social media more than mick's karma bar. social media has been blamed for a lot of things. social unrest, inducing procrastination, invasion of privacy, and becoming a substitute for actual interactions, real face to face time. i have a feeling that mick, from mick's karma bar does not have anything but love for social networking sites. mick opened his business at the bottom of a large office building complex in irvine. started as a juice/wrap driven restaurant, mick's was susceptible to the boons and busts of the business world, more than he should have been, due to his location. he told us that entire business's just disappeared from the office buildings during the recession. he lost a good majority of his customers, chunks at a time. luckily, he had a burger on his menu that would change his business forever, the karma burger. well it was not actually

allen had the patty melt but it really looked more like a regular burger. the carmelized onion added even more zest to the already well flavored patty. oozing with melted cheese, it was good bite after bite. mick’s beef burgers, according to its website, are made from the finest 100% premium angus sirloin, ground in store daily, all natural without hormones or antibiotics. just look at how beautifully grilled the patty was!

seriously this drink was out of bounds, really strong flavors of strawberry and lemonade, one wasn’t over powering the other it was a perfect blend, and then you got the basil, which i am not going to lie i was like basil?!?!…but wow it complimented the two flavors so well, it was really refreshing! definitely a must try! when my karma burger came out, it looked delicious already. mick mentioned that the patty is made in store, as well as the meat being grounded and everything in store, again that co-signs my thought of mick having such pride in everything he does. he said tha

awesome burger. don't know what the sauce is on the karma burger, but it's incredible. not a fan of the strawberry basil lemonade, but the burger and fries are amazing. prices aren't bad either, so if you are looking for a good burger, this is the place to go.
