mafia chic. i had dinner on jan 9th 2010... entrees range from $70-180. it all seemed so excessive, price for price's sake. first platter to land on our table was an enormous mound of canned pickled vegetables. wtf? i took this as a bad sign, and the fact that our waiter couldn't steer us towards a dry bottle of 'bubbles'. we went straight for the meat; i have to admit, the filet was excellent, as was the bananas foster. but pouring dom perignon over lousy sorbet as a palate cleanser? why waste good champagne? times have changed, guido. but, i suppose there will always be families who need to spend money to feel important. give me fresh food any day, and charge me something reasonable.
