mexicano griller

i am old customer to this place. visiting the place after carona. look of the menu card itself speaks to the maintenance of the restaurant. they never updated anything after launch of the restaurant. i asked for baked beans, i experienced razma sundal. butter sauce is thickened milk. i am not sure why they are running the shop. they lost their credibility.

the mexican frittatas were supposed to have chesse in them, as per discription. but what we got was egg omlet with jalepone n olives with no salt or chesse.
although the chicken steak and the spicy chicken steak was good for the said price.

mexicano griller is an eating joint on sterling road masquerading as a 'mexican' food place. the 'mexicano' in the name is a misnomer as the only thing even remotely hispanic about it is the music and a few guitars and sombereros strewn about.
the menu has texmex options on offer along with a few usual suspects like pasta and biryani. the menu, pricing and the 'unlimited' option at 860 are the positive standouts.
where the restaurant falls woefully short is unfortunately, the crucial food/taste department. the food seems to be chennai's take on mexican cuisine (entirely unintentional, unfortunately) - a dastardly bastardisation that's neither here nor there. quesadilla is meat drizzled with spiced oil and grilled in a maida roti, sour cream tastes like curd mixed with some flour, lemon butter fish (a house specialty to boot) has no lemon but enough pepper to fell a man and guacamole is nowhere to be seen.
taken without it's 'mexican' tag, the food is passable; with the added weight of the expectations of a mexican taste, it is an absolute disappointment. the redeeming quality of the experience has to be the affable manager and fairly quick service; however the kitchen definitely needs to churn out better stuff.
there are better restaurants in the vicinity - you can safely give this one a miss.

good mexican style restaurant. garlic chicken, lasagna, creepy chicken and flan, the best that we had. buffet is also available. excellent service.

didn't expect much from this place as i've heard mixed reviews but this place is good indeed.
the manager took us through their menu and all dishes were served warm and fresh. the corn soup was okay. the fish and chicken quesadillas were the best among the lot (super oily though) ! relished every bite of it and ordered one more portion. could not try the pizzas this time as we were super full after the super cheesy wraps. the grilled fish was really good too. the panacotta with fresh fruits needs a special mention. the caramel custard was a little hard set but tasted good. will definitely visit again to try rest of the dishes. ambience isn't great but it's a decent and neat place which is easily accessible.

the food was awesome. mr. wesley did a great job. he suggested us the awesome mexican food we could ever have - lasagna and peri-peri chicken. it was the best 😘😍 and the price was very reasonable too. the ambience gave another twist to our 'food adventure'. i would definitely recommend this place. thanks mr. wesley 😀🤗

we have ordered chicken burrito , mexican spicy chicken wings, chicken steak....mexican spicy chicken wings was really good. *must try it*. staffs were kind. fine dining for mexican food lovers.need little more change in ambience.

service and ambience is good.. try chicken steak, it tastes good ( if u dont mind the size).. burritos are quite tasty.. nice place to hangout with friends

the place lacks ambience. the service was not good. we called and asked whether a reservation was needed and whether the buffet was available. the resturant informed us no reservations was needed and the buffet was available. after reaching there we had to wait 30 mins to get a table and when we got in, the resturant says that the buffet was closed. we had to leave the resturant, and we wasted travelling all the way to the resturant, even though we had called before. we had to search for another restaurant and by that time we had wasted here, all the other places was closed.
