feeling rushed!. i must say that the food is fantastic and creative. however, i have had very poor service while dining in this restaurant. my husband and i met 2 other couples here for a relaxed evening out. that was our plan but not with the staff at meadowlark. we had 6 o'clock reservations and started with appetizers and drinks, then ordered dinner (all of which was delicious) then proceeded to have dessert. i overheard the staff discussing the fact that we had ordered dessert. they seemed stressed that due to the small establishment, they must "rush" diners through. they never refilled our coffee with dessert, brought the checks without asking if we were finished, and paced around, whisking away all of our dishes. do not go to meadowlark if you would like to enjoy a relaxed evening with friends. this restaurant needs to take some cues from the europeans and realize that dining out is an experience in every sense of the word.
