service and quality of food has gone downhill! not the place is use to be!

first time and loved it. always good to see long time customers hugging veteran waitresses. family had various omelettes and fresh breads. all very good.

it's a bakery and a restaurant in one. they have a really delicious almond croissant i had with my breakfast instead of toast. the decaf coffee almost smelled or tasted like instant but that's just my opinion. their potatoes were a little dry but still really good. they cooked my eggs perfectly. i will definitely be coming back!

i have never eaten there, but they get a five for making a top notch birthday cake. they were very friendly when i went to pick it up and definitely looks like a spot my wife would enjoy dining. we got nothing but rave reviews on the cake.

disappointed. took my husband here to treat him for the first time as i had a good first eating experience 3 months ago. both of us were disappointed. slow service (although serve keeps apologizing), the cash person did not even help out even though it was obvious they were short staffed (or were they?). the curry chicken was a chicken puree mixture with lettuce,. the sourdough was too thin to hold it together, dry and kept on breaking apart. my island chicken was obviously not fresh chicken breast (seems like from a frozen pack). it was dry and too thick for it being served as one piece (on an english muffin).....i don't know about their breakfast but will have second thoughts of coming back. sad for having high hopes for the place.

disappointing. i found the menu intriguing. we were looking for a good tea room and came upon the eating room. lunch was mediocre, i ordered the pastrami and found it very dry and much too spicy. i was unable to even eat half of the sandwich. the waitress offered a replacement but my appetite by now was gone. my sister ordered the french toast but it tasted like mush. she ended up with a queesy tummy the rest of the afternoon.

good local place. we found the eating room almost by accident. we read the reviews prior to ordering, so i ordered the sinful french toast. it was a french toast bread pudding. i found it to be very different and very good....but way too filling. the person i was with also enjoyed one of the wraps. i recommend this local establishment.

not what i expected. i've eaten here several times and i have to say although the food is ok it wasn't what i expected. i've had cooking classes with martha years ago as did my mother and when i first saw the menu i expected dishes that weren't so simple and plain. don't get me wrong the food is fine, i expected at least a couple of more creative dishes or options. i might be a bit of a foodie, so i've been referred to as, so perhaps i look for interesting dishes when i go out and i didn't really see any here. most of these dishes i make at home and i have to say my dishes are more interesting. if you like a pleasant environment and a basic menu this place is for you. i will be back but just not as often.

breakfast was very good. atmosphere very relaxed. busy place but food comes out reasonably quick. i'll go back for sure.

likes it. first time dining-in after many take-out pastry purchases. i tried their eggs benedict, which is one my personal breakfast favorites. they did a nice job on the hollandaise sauce the eggs were done just to my liking. the home fries that accompanied my order had too much of a generic taste to them. i counted three small strips of bell peppers and no onions at all. not too much of a home-style to the home fries. the service was pleasant and i never had to ask to refresh my cup of coffee. pleasant atmosphere definitely makes it worthy of another chance.

if you like your eggs and hash browns literally dripping with butter, go for it. there was so much butter i couldn't taste the food.
