superb ambience and great food experience. service by ganesh was quite warm.

we really liked choley, chicken tikka in food. the shahi tukra in desserts was to die for. overall great experience, truly hemant oberoi’s class.

we visited martabaan after viewing the reviews and were expecting a culinary delight. we opted for the iftar set menu as it was our 1st iftar outing this year. however we were very disappointed with the experience. for starters the service was very slow inspite of not being in full capacity. iftar menu was very basic like butter chicken , dal makhni and biryani. the portions were very small. the presentation was very basic. we have had great culinary experiences at places like moksh, tamba, punjab grill and namak and in comparison our experience at martabaan was not great at all. the iftar menu was priced at 280 per person and for that price it was a sheer disappointment.

so we had an absolute pleasure to experience chef’s table all stars edition at martabaan. chef gaurav does some amazing things with the food and we got to experience it first hand and absolutely loved it.
24 carat lamb chops & martbaan ka meat were just delicious beyond words.
words can do no justice to how amazing the experience was. cocktails, the view, beautiful outdoor and the service staff were excellent and had in-depth knowledge of what they were serving.

we visited the restaurant yesterday for lunch and kid you not, i was totally impressed with the ambience.

sorry for meat eaters, we ordered only vegetarian stuff - starting with chocolate bomb chaat, oozing papri chaat with dark chocolate sphere on top which is melted live by pouring hot tamarind chutney over. it was a yummy 😀.

the main course included martabaan ke chhole with amritsari kulcha. this was served with also kulcha, one of the best i ever had and chhole had something unique to its taste which was great.

although our second mail course can can paneer wasn't a highlight but cannot pick anything wrong in the taste. the dish is served with tiny portion of rice hence we ordered pesto naan with it which was good.

the desert was also good in the form of masala chai creme brulee.

i cannot finish this review with the ultimate highlight of our lunch - the papad served with chutney (tomato/raw mango). the chutney was by far my favourite that i had to ask for second serving 😋.

horrible food. everything we ordered was full of oil. after every portion we could only see oil left in our plates. cannot rate moctails even average because they are literally available everywhere in uae. overrated would be an understatement here.

i was arranging with them for a business dinner of 20 people before 10 days of our visit to martabaan, but not the food nor the service were even on the average side. we thought that having dinner in one of the fanciest indian restaurants in uae will be quite an experience but shockingly everything was bad and poor. the waiter even spilled the coke on one of the guys and the bottle broke and glass shattered on the floor, and they didn’t even initiate a compensation gesture for what happened. never again, the worst it could get

fantastic taste of all items...ganesh is taken care timely food and excellent service...must try is mush room and fish....

this place is very pricey as expected from emirates palace. however there is 20% off on zomato.
they have a decent amount of options for veg.
i loved the paneer masala but the paneer makhani had too much elaichi.
they have interesting bread options, loved the chilli olive naan.veg biryani was also good.
the khurmaani ki tikki and kursi chaat were really tasty but quantity was so less. i did not like the veg naan choora at all, would not recommend.

one of the top indian restaurants in abudhabi.. must try their 24 carat lamb chop and seafood dishes prepared perfectly by chef gurav.. try their dishes which are rich in authentic indian flavours while enjoying stunning views from emirates palace terrace!

i went to martaban on our wedding anniversary and it was a great experience... they have amazing hospitality, ambience and above all the food is amazing. those who are craving for good north indian food with good ambience, this is a must visit place for them. i just loved the can can paneer and dal makhani... will surely visit again with family. super happy ✌🏻✌🏻
