this is the top place in east cobb no doubt. if you go here on a friday night you are sure too see everyone you know from town, full of walton high school alumni if you will. the buffalo chicken wrap is out of this world. get you the fried okra on the side you won't regret it. good drinks and atmosphere as well. well priced to go along.

the special tonight changed my life!!! :-). my husband and i rarely get out. we came tonight to marlow's in east cobb / marietta and had a fabulous time. the special was "pecan crusted trout with jalapeno corn grits and asparagus". we split the meal and it was so delicious that we ordered one to go for my mother who was watching the children, and she had a fit over it. we will definitely go again soon!

i have visited this marlow's multiple times over the years and have never been disappointed. we visited on a thursday evening, and the restaurant was bustling and lively. we were greeted and seated quickly upon entering. we ordered their flatbread of the evening, a bayou inspired dish complete with grilled chicken, cheese, jalapeños, and a creole aioli. the flat bread was amazing. it was cooked to perfection and all the flavors went well together. we then ordered a bayou burger with a side salad and fish tacos with chick pea fries. the bayou burger is a limited offer, but it was amazing. the burger was cooked perfectly. the fish tacos were very fresh and all the ingredients meshed well together. the chick pea fries were amazing as well. i was skeptical, but they were quite delicious. will continue to return.

a girl walks into a chain restaurant...it's kid friendly so keep your expectations in check. i see marlowe's all over town. when with a group you go with the vote. this one happened to be near the movie theater we were at and i was hungry, too hungry to put up a fight. besides the outdoor patio was full of smiling people and i saw a half outside (and half inside) bar. just like vacation! inside is tavern-y. dark. lots of draft handles on the bar. not a soul inside on this sunshiny saturday. we all wanted to enjoy the weather outside. the menu is borderline delightful. that doesn't mean the food will delight but i am hungrily hopeful. service is attentive and cheerful but oddly my very common beer is only available in a bottle. a little shocking to me it's not on daught but who knows how often they clean those lines. just give me a glass and i will fake it. i opted first for fried shrimp.  the shrimp are not exactly the high quality prawn sized crustaceans you expect when you order fried shrimp. not to be confused with novel popcorn shrimp. no, these fall somewhere between canned and bad frozen shrimp with no tails you get at the grocery store freezer department costing maybe $5 for a 2 lb bag. coating is nice and crispy and there are two sauces to kill the unfresh look of them. one creamy spice mayo and the other a sweet n sour. you know, for the kids.  next i saw loaded up potato chips. they come adorned with blue cheese dressing (lots of chunks sprinkled on vs all of it being mixed in the dressing), real bacon bits (points!), green onion and tomatoes but i nixed those vile things.  now, this is beer bar food i like. i was licking my fingers like some neaderthal that doesn't have proper table manners. i could blame it on the beer but i hadn't even had half of my self poured glass yet.  the chips didn't taste old but they didn't taste like they had been cooked in the past couple of hours either. it's entirely edible so i can't complain. this is heads above the shrim

marlow’s is always crowded at dinner, and at 6:45pm on a friday night, we fear a long wait.

firecracker shrimp: excellent. nachos: good but different. this marlowes is next door to a very busy movie theatre so beware of getting there right after a popular movie gets out. marlowes is always pretty good and a safe bet.

been here several times and the service is aweful. if yoyr not having drinks forget it, you need a buzz to put up with the attitude. this location has managment issues, its too bad this could be a good place. i always tip well this time i tipped to the service less the 10%

marlow's is my new standby. there's nothing risky or trend-setting here, but everything is good and this is east-cobb. but i'll keep coming back for the great service, good cocktails, nice beer selection, and great pub food.

not bad!. marlow's reminds me of houston's or an upscale ruby tuesday. it's certainly a decent restaurant-- clean, good ambience, diverse menu -- but nothing so knock-your-socks off that i'd go out of my way to return, if i wasn't shopping in the strip mall -- which is why i ended up there.

my friend and i both had salads that were pretty good, albeit a little over-priced. i like the convenience of marlow's and it is a welcome addition to the area.
