one of the best if not the best philly cheesesteaks in the triad. any customer service hiccups always treated with high priority and staff is always polite even towards end of night.

so the service not great. pizza was okay but will keep looking for that ny style pizza elsewhere. attitude is everything and when the server gives you a hard time that shoulda been the first clue. this food isn't so awesome that i would deal with the server's attitude to get it. the steak sub we ordered was mostly bread and not by a little bit. it's a pizza place i know but if you're gonna do something, do it well. hopefully this was an off day but based on this experience i doubt i'll be returning and can't really recommend.

terrible service. pizza was okay. ordered pasta was no good. will not be returning here. it smells better than it really is. very disappointed.

best pizza in town!. my husband and i come to mario's nearly every week. the place is not fancy, so we can come in and relax. the staff is very friendly and make you feel right at home. we always order a mario's combination deluxe pizza with all the toppings! we've tried a lot of pizza joints, so take it from me, it's the best in town! we can always depend on it to be just as good the next time. and did i mention their greek salads are incredible? win, win! you gotta try it!

tasty choice. we enjoyed mario's pizza. the smell as you enter is mouthwatering. the menu provides a nice variety of italian dishes. the pizza by the slice is a very good deal. the interior is kind of simple, but the decorations feature famous new york land marks. it was very clean (nothing like a new york subway station . . , gratefully). staff was friendly and eager to help you out. they providing good food and good value!

authentic white pizza with pepperoni and beef. this had a great blend of cheeses. the new york style pizza was very delicious with a nice crispy crust. even though we prefer the pizza with red sauce, it was a very flavorful, tasty choice. we will order this again for a great change of pace.

good pizza, poor service. i went to mario's website and their menu was listed as under construction. after calling the restaurant to ask about their sandwiches, i was treated very rudely by the lady who answered the phone, she said she didn't have time to talk about the menu and basically called me a liar when i told her the web site was down. the owner finally got on the phone, acknowledged that it was down and went over the menu. other than the employees attitude, this is a good place for pizza.

slow delivery, cold food. our delivery was 30 minutes late (took 75 minutes to arrive), and when it finally showed up, the pizza was cold. also, the chicken fingers were burnt and dry and the fries were soggy. would not recommend to anybody.

best philly steak sandwich ever!. nothing compares to mario's philly steak sandwich. it is out of this world! and their pizza is beyond comparison, too!

i always get a tex mex sub (philly w spicy tex mex sauce) when i come here. there is nothing like it. haven't had the pizza in years because it was always too bland.

moved here from nyc. this is as close to ny style pizza as you can get in winston salem.
