wonderful experience! "fine dining" does not apply to the eclectic, casual ambiance, but "fine dining" surely applies to the delicious farm-to- table cuisine and the beautiful plating/presentation. good value for what you get. menu always changes, but the shrimp ceviche and the vegetarian chili rellano were delicious! it takes confidence and skill to offer a sirloin (it's "lean-ness" leaves it prone to become tough and dry), but my sirloin was excellent!!!

margarita at pine creek. what a nice way to celebrate our anniversary. a nice quiet restaurant with very good food. the red snapper entree was excellent but the portion was too large as it was sooo rich.

not quite fine dinning. my wife and i dined at margarita at pine creek for our anniversary. we're a military family, so it seems like we're looking for a restaurant in a new city just about every year. that said, we've developed an image of what fine dining should be, and margarita at pine creek isn't quite there.

the live music at maragarita at pine creek was classical in nature and decent, although somewhat overbearing. the wait staff was curteous and attentive, and the tables were set in nooks which had good potential.

outside there's a patio area where a party was enjoying the outdoor atmosphere. the outside venue reminded me of an upper class bar. family friendly to be sure, but awfully expensive to be wearing shorts and sandles.

the tables were of a crushed glass motif, which looked off and didn't impress. despite a reservation for 2, we were seated at a table for 4. the waiter proceeded to clear the additional dinerware after we were seated. the menu is based on what the chef can find fresh daily. we had the five course meal, but were struck by how the menu wasn't synch'd. for instance, between the courses you could find dishes from the orient, mexico, europe, italy, and america. our meals were good, with good presentation, worth the $42 for a 5 course meal. the ambiance was okay, not great, as mentioned earlier the music was somewhat overbearing, and the patrons didn't exemplify fine dining in shorts and sandles.

overall margarita at pine creek is a good restaurant, a solid step above the chain restaurants, but just doesn't quite meet the standard of fine dining.

relaxed. good food. very relaxed atmosphere. the outdoor seating area is very nice, and offers more than normal privacy (spacious). a great place for a date or social dining. we had lunch, i had the pulled pork tacos; my date had the chicken salad. and we both enjoyed a cup of the crab bisque.

viva la lounge. the basement lounge of the margarita should be on everyone's springs food list. away from the strings and class above, it offers a scant ever changing menu packed with flavor that even a philosophy major can spring for. they serve the tastiest burger that i've ever had in the city, offer a range of soft tacos depending on the night (rabbit, maybe duck), and a cubano sandwich that will make you break out in a rumba dance. while the bourgeoisie banter above, take the stairs down to the lounge and plot a revolution.

excellent food. this place really makes the effort to serve good food. not a chain. just a caring spot that offers some original dishes worth savoring.

rude server!!. wow, i have been eating here for years and years.
i never had a negative experience until this past weekend.
3/19/2011. the eggs benedict which is usually great, was soggy and the muffins tasted microwaved. however that is not the worst part. my girlfriend ordered the enchiladas which they bring out in a boat dish that is placed on a plate, because it's hot. it doesn't quite fit and rocks back and forth so i removed it from the plate. when the server saw this she scolded my girlfriend for removing the dish. it was increadably rood! i guess all good things must come to an end.

waaaay overpriced for the value. not very gluten-free friendly because there are very few options. food was just ok, wine was just ok. service not very helpful for our friends who were not foodies. indoor atmosphere was ok; outdoor spaces are lovely.

great food and atmosphere; gluten-free friendly. if you want to eat where both the food and the atmosphere are eclectic, margarita at pine creek is the place to go. its surroundings and furnishings are both unique--lots of little nooks in which to be private, and a great outdoor area for the summer. the chef is fantastic--winner of many awards. i eat gluten-free, and there is never a problem adapting menu items for me. i love this place!
