this place is great! i wish it was in mcallen so wouldn't have to make the drive over here, but it's definitely worth it. try the mushroom burger with jalapeños. it's so good. the burgers are so juicy they drip while you eat them.

heard plenty of great reviews but once there, they were anything but great. yes good quality of meat but lack of flavor. fries were too soggy and full of oil. nothing special.

so after reading all the good reviews i decided to hit up marco's. i ordered a panchos and a marco's combo to go. the waitress was pleasant, but i had to wait about 15 minutes even though the store was relatively empty. when i got home i noticed my burger was missing ham and bacon. the party itself, though juicy, was lacking in seasoning. the bun fell apart as i was eating, but that may be due to being a takeout order. the fries lacked any salt at all but are fairly large and fresh. they weren't crispy or soggy. the panchos was very large and contained a large quantity of meat. overall i fairly mediocre experience for the expensive price.

left and ate angry!. i normally love marcos burgers but tonight i had the worst experience. well to start off my sister and i waited for our food for an hour! then the waitress comes to us and says "i'm so sorry, i forgot you guys were here"........so we completely annoyed, ranting on about how pissed we are, and when we get home everything that we specifically asked to not be in our burger is in our freakin burger......i love you marcos but you seriously need new waitresses cause that experience makes me not want to eat there anymore

i've been there twice since they've opened and i don't plan on going back at all. i heard a bunch of good reviews and how their burgers were the best in the mission/sharyland area and i have to say i beg to differ. both times i went the burgers where flavorless. no hint of any seasoning. that could be why most of their burgers have so many toppings. the whole fresh cut fries concept is awesome but they were soggy. and if you plan on adding mushrooms to your burger...don't! they had no seasoning what's so ever and tasted as if they were sautéed with oil. maybe it was the cooks but i don't plan on going back.

it was great. went for my husbands birthday and it was truly one of the best bday dinners he's ever had! it was slow not that many tables yet our service was superb. she was really patient and explained the menu and how to order. the food was so good. you can tell it was all made fresh with fresh ingredients. not expensive at all. highly recommend this place. will go back again! :d

burgers are good, but.... i was very disappointed to hear marco (the person the restaurant is named after and the man on a flier on every table) of the place joyfully cursing with friends in the eating area. i had my younger brother and mother in attendance, and was very embarrassed. i lost my appetite knowing i was paying to eat around this environment.

consistently good @ marco's. just want people to know, who haven't eaten at marco's before, that the food is consistently good at marco's!!! mexican burger is awesome....switch the ham and add bacon is my favorite. great job marco....keep it up.

incredible. gotta say that the burgers at marco's may well be the best in hidalgo county. for sure they are the only ones made of ground ribeye. and the fries....well, they're every bit as good as the burgers; so, i suggest you not muck them up with the cheese and chile. this place isn't fancy, just a good old-fashioned burger joint with a friendly owner and an efficient and accomodating wait staff. the best part, it's not far from home.

don't worry about competition with mooyahs or 5 guys. marco's is so far ahead, it isn't even a fair contest!
