been here a good few times cos it's close by and on the way into town. i always get the scallops and prawns. the pizza is exceptional my boyfriend says its the best in dublin. the space can be a bit tight and the place is under staffed which slightly lessens the overall experience.

best traditional italian restaurant in dublin, yet to find a better traditional italian pizza or traditional italian cuisine dishes in ireland. highly recommended the pollo manifesto and mamy pizza.

excelente comida.

best italian restaurant i've tried so far in dublin. pizza is great, they also have the gluten free option; pasta is home made. not the happiest atmosphere, it is more the relaxed-type of restaurant.

came here as a group of four and overall had a nice meal. we shared the char-grilled scallops and the parmigiana di melanzane aubergine dishes to start. the scallops were only ok, but the aubergine was delicious, served with fresh basil.

i had the mamy (voted best pizza in the world) and my friend had the don coreone (voted best pizza in ireland). mine came with spinach, ricotta and salami which was tasty but could have had more flavour. i actually preferred the don coreone, it has really unusual spices and wasn’t as heavy. the dough in both was really good though. my other friends had the veal and the monkfish, which they both really enjoyed but i thought the veal had a very strong taste.

i had the panna cotta to finish which is beautifully presented and light, a nice was to finish a meal. it was three different flavoured jigsaw pieces, blackberry orange and vanilla i think, it came with all these tiny dots of strongly flavoured fruit sauces. the table beside me got the soufflé and it looked divine- depends what you’re in the mood for!

overall we were happy but i would warn the service is very slow, and overall i don't think it lives up to the hype. we were waiting an hour and a half for the pizzas and so were all the other tables. it took a long time for orders to be taken, glasses to be filled, the bill to be dropped over. ....must improve!

i'm not usually an italian restaurant fan. to me they're too safe & bland but manifesto is neither of these!

we went to try the pizza that once won best in the world (i mean, you'd have to try it? right!?) it was nothing short of superb. the base was thin yet still had a chew to it & the toppings were perfect.

i've passed by manifesto so many times without even noticing it, now i tell everyone who wants good pizza that they must go!

manifestos is one of the best pizza restaurants in dublin in my opinion. from the outside its doesn't look like anything special but don't let the exterior fool you this place is great. always busy so book ahead.

being gluten free, pizza is something that i crave and miss the most. when i heard about this place and the fact that a lot of their menu, including the pizza can be made gluten free, i had to try it out. had the most amazing pizza topped with brocollini and sausage and mozzarella - no tomato sauce. divine! base was perfect and although it's never going to rival a real wood fired gluten filled crust, it certainly tastes like the next best thing. followed it with gluten free tiramisu which was also heavenly! coffee also very good. returned a second time and had the exact same thing! tried my sisters pizza also with roasted veg and n'duja sausage, very tasty. this is my go to place when i'm craving pizza. can't wait to go back.

had heard amazing things about this hidden gem and i'm delighted to say it did not disappoint! probably one of the best meals i've ever had-everything i tried was incredibly tasty!
i had the pate to start with brioche and jam and my boyfriend had the scallops- both were lovely but i'd really recommend the pate!
for mains i opted for the calzone pizza as the place has a reputation for some of the best pizza in the world- it was not too heavy and full of creamy mozzarella, ricotta and a spicy salami- delicious! my boyfriend had the wild boar ravioli and this was a stand out dish! it came in a creamy sage and butter sauce with some balsamic and it was bursting with rich flavour and melted in your mouth- i will definitely be ordering this when i come back!
we also split a portion of the "roast potatoes" which are more like rosemary chips as we saw a different table had ordered a portion and they looked great. initially i thought we ordered too much food and wouldn't finish them but they were sensational! so soft and buttery but like a chip- would highly recommend!
over all we had two starters, two pains, a side and a bottle of wine for €89 which i think is incredible value-
only slight negatives were the bathrooms are a little dingy and the service wasn't the best as they were so busy- only small critics though- i will definitely be back very very soon!

a fantastic italian restaurant tucked away in rathmines.it may not look much from the outside, but this is one of the best italian restaurants i've been to in dublin and i can't wait to go back.

the dining area is a long corridor with tables on either side, with candles on the wall to give the room a nice ambient light.

as it was a saturday night it was quite busy in the restaurant but the waitresses were still very attentive

the food was simply fantastic. as a starter i had the scallops on a bed of spinach. it was presented beautifully and tasted even better. my girlfriend got the chicken liver pate with jam and toasted bread which was also fantastic

my girlfriend got the calzone main which was a very generous portion and stuffed with toppings.
i had the wild boar ravioli which absolutely blew me away from the first bite. the portion was the perfect size as the sauce was very rich. i couldn't recommend this dish enough.

overall, an exceptional dining experience that i will be definitely be going to sample again

best gluten free pizza in town bar none! serioulsy, it's just amazing. the owner / head chef even teaches gluten free cooking classes. the various toppings are always top notch and the base is light and fluffy but with a lovely crispy base. if you're in the area, check it out! a must for pizza loves, but especially gluten free ones! :-d

booked a table and we were so excited to try the pizza! but once seated, we waited for over 25 minutes with no service or even water. it felt like we were being ignored! the place was busy but we weren't even acknowledged by the staff once we sat down. really unpleasant and frustrating experience. we left without eating and went elsewhere. won't be back. won't recommend.

having read a really great review on manifesto during the week i decided to quench my pizza craving and popped in here on wednesday evening. it was just as well we arrived as early as we did as it was completely packed by 7.30.. also meant we were in time for the amazing offer comprising of a 3 course meal and glass of beer or wine for only €25.

the bruschetta for starter was very tasty, with really fresh ingredients and a perfect size allowing for breathing space before the pizza & dessert! the pizza i order was called mamy, topped with aubergine, prosciutto, parmigiano, and buffalo mozzarella. it was also full of flavours and in my opinion tasted like a real authentic italian pizza straight from the wood fired oven. finally a panna cotta dessert finished off a delicious meal and we left very happy campers. this is a great pizza place in the heart of rathmines.. there are also some really great options for coeliac's as they can modify most of their dishes to omit gluten!

i went here after work as i had heard the pizza here was among the best in dublin. we were in time for the early bird menu which included 3 courses and a drink for €25 which is very reasonable.

i got the bruschetta for a starter which was not overly complicated but the balsamic vinegar used gave it an added flavour kick! for my main i ordered the don corleone pizza. it was noted on the menu that this particular pizza won pizza of the year award in 2011, something that i was unaware when deciding to go here! it was an authentic italian pizza from the base to the topping to been cooked in wood fired oven. as a result it did not feel as greasy or unhealthy as other pizza places. it definitely lived up to its billing and was good size a pizza for a standard portion.

overall i really enjoyed my meal at manifesto. it has the feeling of a place that would be commonly overlooked on the main street in rathmines, however i would definitely recommend trying it if you fancy a guilt free italian pizza!!
