we came here for dinner last night with the family being my mum in law's 90th birthday.
being a monday night the restaurant was extremely quiet. we felt we were the only people eating there all night. there was also a table of 5 people there but they were the owners friends and family.
a total of seven courses was ordered being the usual fare which was plates of roast duck, steamed chicken, steamed blue cod fish in ginger and soya sauce, long life noodles, choysum vegetable, a tofu and pork dish, and a bowl of spicy prawns.
all the food offered was ranged from quite nice to not-so-nice. nothing really stood out in my opinion. hence l scored it 3 out of 5 for food.
the service we received wasn't especially good. there were two waiters there all night one of them being the owner l believe. what i hated to see was a fully messy table that no one bothered to clear all our empty dishes and bowls of bones and dirty tissues, etc. until where we were leaving. other competitive chinese restaurants in the area are generally much better in this respect. hence i would scored it 2 out of 5 for service and comfort.
i hope our experience would be better on our next visit here.
