this is a quaint northwest neighborhood restaurant with about a dozen tables. they had a steady stream of takeout customers. the satay prawns was my favorite dish. we also had drunken noodles and a green curry which were both mildly spiced for my taste. the server was very efficient and the food arrived quickly.

they had a pretty nifty interior with some nice murals! to start off, they gave us some complimentary spring rolls! they weren’t too oily yet were very crispy and light on the outside but were packed with tons of veggie goodness on the inside! the pad prik (9.95) was the first dish to come. the veggies were all very fresh and crunchy, and the chicken was very flavourful. the sauce itself had a very strong basil taste that reminded me of a light oyster sauce that has a slight tangyness to it. the next dish to come was the pineapple fried rice (9.95). the pineapple’s sweetness was nicely spread throughout the rice. however, that said, it could have been a bit stronger (aka use more pineapple juice). it was pretty nifty how the rice came inside the pineapple! next came the pad thai (9.95). there was the most absolute

more and more are popping up.... more and more of this business are popping up around portland, from food cart to a few locations and i know why.

i always go for the ghang garee. they do not fill the dish with cabbage like the cheapskates. they give you perfectly chunked potatoes, nicely sliced peppers, carrots, and broccoli, the onions are done just right.

i request the hottest and as far as spice goes, they serve it up just right.

the pad kee mao is another dish that is on the list of things all things appetizing.

great thai, give it a try. we got 4 or 5 dishes for carryout. all were excellent except one. i think they tried to make it too spicy but they missed the mark. normally we love spicy but this was obnoxious and overboard. everything else was perfect though. the dining room is nothing to brag about, i would probably only do carryout. check this place out and try several dishes until you find your favorite.

we went for a working lunch. very noisy and the staff were very rude.

excellent food, excellent service, great atmosphere. unless you enjoy tears of pain for the majority of your meal don't get extra extra hot as your spicy level. don't get me wrong i love spicy food and this level of spice was great, but i did not expect it to be that hot based on my experience at other thai places. will definitely be eating here again sometime.
