main street grille

horrible service, mediocre food, great atmosphere. we had a late dinner, around 8:30, and it seemed like we were a bother to our server and she sat at the bar with the other servers the whole time we were there and rarely bothered to come check on us. the food was bland, and pretty boring... i was expecting for more than a few unseasoned chopped up tomatoes and avocado thrown on the plate with my tuna.

something about restaurants in the canton area trying too hard to be something they're not, and ending up failing. they should team up with gervasi and take some classes on customer service and cooking.

seems like everyone else agrees, just go for the live music and drinks!!

love, love, love main street grille in north canton!. the food was delicious! everything from the appetizers to the main course was fresh and cooked to perfection.

our waiter, mark gossett made us feel like a million dollars, his customer service skills are top of the line. i live more than an hour from the main street grille, but i am going back soon, and often.

thank you main street grille, our family had the best time!

oh, and do not forget to order desert, you will thank me.

service great. second time we have been there will not be back. very expensive for poor quality food. menu not much to pick from.

worst meal ever!!. we had the worst meal at main street grille and we will not be going back. first they sat us at a dirty table with dirty salt and pepper shakers on them. i should have known at this point that this was not going to be a great night. we ordered drinks and it took her about 15 minutes to return with them. after we ordered we waited for our food for a very long time. when it came my steak that i ordered rare was well done. so i sent it back. when the girl came out with the new one she told me that when she took it into the kitchen and looked at it she said it was rare under the lights! she then brought me out a steak that wasnt even browned on top. it was raw and looked to be a grey color. the chef ( if you can call him that) has no buisness in the kitchen. our bill was $77.00 and we had to go to eat dinner when we left. it may look like a nice little spot but beware it is awful!!!! they will never make it.

ordered the crab cakes but they were out so i ordered the blackened chicken mac ‘n cheese. oh my! glad they were out of crab cakes. that was the best mac ‘n cheese!

wow! i have been a fan of the main street grille since they opened, but they have really stepped up their game.new owners, cory and preston are working hard to make this gem shine as it was meant to! i had the ahi tuna salad this time and again, i say  wow.  this is my very favorite fish and it is rare that i have it prepared correctly, let alone perfectly, as the sesame-crusted piece on my salad was. they have improved service, create seasonal menus and have upgraded the "little things" like the dinner salad that comes with many dishes- the white french dressing is to die for- and the multigrain/multiseed bread is nothing short of miraculous. i hope that if anyone has any reservations about coming to the main street grille due to past issues, that you will give them another try. you will not be disappointed!

we absolutely love this restaurant!! the atmosphere is gorgeous, the staff is extremely helpful and the food is wonderful. we try to go on a regular basis because of the selection of beers and fine wine, plus the great menu options and the food is sooo good. try the jim burger as it won 1st place in the stark county hamburger war for restaurants. deeelicious!!! would recommend this restaurant to all. since the new owners took over in july of 2016 it is worth to try it again!! you will truly be impressed. great job to preston and cory👏

food is way over priced. it was loud and we had people hovering over our table the whole time. not at all an enjoyable experience. will not be back.

wow, can you say bum's rush? served a lukewarm steak and potatoe before i could even get the first bite of salad. thee is no way that was cooked to order. what a disappointment for a beautiful building and potentially great atmosphere.

the patio is extremely under staffed. it is beautiful new patio but the service is just not up to par. i will not be returning.

mom's 90th birthday. hosted surprise 9oth birthday/bridge luncheon for 16 ladies 6/14/14, for mom. everything from the room,lunch and service was wonderful. katie our server and all the staff went out of their way to make this milestone in mom's life special. a good time was had by all.

review correction. march 27, 2014 review: the problem with these types of web sites is that anyone can trash you and hide. your competitors, disgruntled employee or anyone. the review of march 27th i am confident was from an ex disgruntled employee because only an employee would have inside information that was part of the review. i tried to respond to the person and it was the only review they had and the email was a bogus email and i was unable to communicate to this person. i think it has spun a new industry. there are companies that want you to pay them to make sure you get good ratings. they probably past bogus good reviews. that's sad!

patron. i don't usually post reviews, however, i'm a frequent patron here and after our most recent evening at the grille, i had to share this and i won't be returning! this place needs management/ownership. i've never been in a restaurant where the employees are sitting, drinking, eating at the bar. a particular manager even leaves their kids play upstairs (must be a playground up there) while they drink at the bar and get obviously intoxicated, then they put them in the car and drive them home? i've witnessed that a couple times recently. there seems to be a "free for all" atmosphere that's not real appealing to the patrons. if you want a good drink, it's the bar to go to - obviously they don't measure their liquor - the pours are insanely strong. good for customers i guess. the food is never the same twice - there are some good specials but over priced for the service level. if you do go, ask for crissy - she's the best! otherwise, i'd skip it and go somewhere else.

i can't believe there are negative reviews, i love this place. the food was amaaaaaazing. orange roughy was the special, sauce was insanely good. got the french kiss for a drink, awesome. staff was really nice, love the atmosphere. can't wait to go back.
