we loved this place! greeted with a good morning from staff upon entering, always puts a smile on your face . i had the cakes and eggs ( 2 huge pancakes and 2 eggs with bacon) and my husband had the humpty dumpty ( 3 eggs, hash browns and toast). food was great along with great prices! we will visit again!

here on a staycation with the love of my life and this place is straight out of alice and wonderland with corresponding artwork around the restaurant. the eggs benedict with (eggs) tenderloin with the pepper hollandaise sauce is out of this world. family ran. diamond in the rough

great place to eat. i was visiting dallas for a conference, and we loved this place so much we went back twice. great food, great prices, and the customer service was awesome. i don't think i've ever eaten a place where they say, "if you need anything else, please let us know." great place!!

terrible. what was i thinking? yelp really let us down. you should walk out when a place is sparsely populated near lunchtime (it was 1:30 pm however). ordered the 'bomb' philly cheese steak at the recommendation of the guy taking our order. omg worst sandwich i have had in years. dry, tasteless. did not finish 3/4 of it. booked around the corner to subway. to their credit the staff seemed interested in our opinion of their food. too bad they didn't exercise some care in the preparations side of things.

wow.

you've been warned.

hidden gem! the food was fantastic and the staff really friendly and accommodating. it looks a little rundown from the outside, but it's actually really clean and cute. would definitely recommend to anyone!

hands down best service in downtown. tired of the same 'ole subway and pizza for lunch, i went looking for something new and found the mad hatter cafe - right on the st. paul station. i am so glad i took this chance. immediately, i was welcomed and treated so nicely by the staff. you can really tell they love what they do and take pride in their food.

i opted for an amazing cheesesteak sandwhich made with - wait for it - brie and balsalmic reduction! it was very reasonably priced and made fresh in minutes!

i will definately be returning - especially since i now know they serve hot, fresh breakfast too!

hat's off to the mad hatter cafe!

great find. my girlfriend and i ate here one morning before heading to the dallas art museum. what a great place to have some brunch. we had the portobello sandwich and tomato soup, and everything was delicious.

the best part of this place is how friendly and helpful the owners/staff are. john was very helpful when we were trying to decide what to order, and jim was a delight to chat with.

i would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quirky, fun place to hang out with friends, grab a bite to eat, or study/read.
