love sushi

great sushi as always. had our go-to favourite spider roll, tried the dragonfly roll- amazing just the right mix of textures and flavours. surprised that getting a take out order was just like dining in as far as quality of presentation and taste.

i love this place! they have a buffet for cheap also they get straight to the point! the love roll is amazing, a must try! i eat here weekly because it is so cheap and delicious!

moderately priced delicious sushi! service was quick and friendly, sushi was it quickly and all of our rolls were delicious. we will be back.

second time i have had love sushi, first time we got take out and second time we ate in.
food was fantastic, my wife and i love sushi and it's a great price. this will be the go to place for sushi. the service was great, helpful and polite. they have a little kids section, which my almost 3 year old loved it. the atmosphere is not great, but the food is amazing, and no one can beat the price.

better than any of the nearby places in frisco. 

 i really like the rice free roles. (rice paper, or cucumber wrap)

 there are many newer places, that are more trendy. i would eat hear over kobi, bull,etc

 the only thing lacking is the atmosphere.

had the all-you-can-eat lunch, and was very pleased. the service was quick and friendly, and the sushi and edemame was delicious. will definitely come back.

miso soup , california roll and love roll. this place is really good. i've been here numerous times. and every time there seems to be a new roll on the menu ! they have buffet hours and dine in hours. buffet hours are packed with people looking for good sushi! and the diner is nice and calm the restaurant dims the lights giving a relaxing vibe , portion sizes for diner are perfect. they have a wide range of japanese dishes . a place to definitely try !

love sushi is my favorite sushi place in frisco, and probably in all of dallas! moreover, the service is always quick and the employees are attentive.

all you can eat sushi and the sides (miso, salad, edamame) for $9.99. the sushi is fresh, great selection of rolls, and the rice on the sushi is great.

love sushi bad experience. we recently had an aweful experience here. my wife and i were enjoying our sushi up to the point where my wife pulled a hair filled bite from her mouth. the hair was fryed inside the roll. if that is not bad enough the staff said that this was not likely the chefs since he is almost bald. omg are you serious! the hair was fryed! enjoy the food people. sure was hard to pay the tab but we just wanted to get the heck outta there. never to return!!!!

it was great... last time. i went three times before they changed to love sushi. i'm not sure if more than just the name changed, so here;s a full review...

also, a little background on my sushi experience... i've been an avid sushi fanatic for about 15 years. have eaten sushi all over the us (nyc, miami, la...). i also stock my fridge and freezer at home with unagi, hamachi, yellowfin tuna, salmon, masago, yama gobo, nori, ponzu... i'm only saying all this because some people that don't eat sushi, and don't like sushi, will leave a bad review based on inexperience. me, i eat sushi at least 4 times a week.

1st time (under green tree name) it was mediocre sushi at best, good service, friendly chef.

2nd time (still green tree or whatever it was called then) they closed an hour early because it was slow. i called at 8:15ish to see when they closed. they said 10pm. i got there right at 9:05 and they were closed. the lady inside sweeping the floor just shrugged her shoulders at me... i was pissed! i emailed the owners and they didn't bother to respond to my email (it was a polite email, no reason for no response).

3rd time (green tree) bad sushi, gross.

4th time (last time, now under the name love sushi) service was excellent, chef was fantastic, couldn't be happier. will be going back tonight. blazin 151 roll is great!

third visit. as some have read on the yahoo forum, the first experience went horribly. the forgot one of the kids dinners, the service was slow, the manager was rude, they did not come back to the table.
the second visit went better, i thought that they ,ight have turned things around. it was dinner instead of lunch, the waitress made sure we had everything, and even brought out 4 dinners for 4 people. i thought they might have turned things around.
the third time, a few minutes ago, we arrived at 12, opening. the only ones there. only three of us this time, and still, they left off the same childs dinner. a grumpy 13 year old makes for a poor dinner. they were slower than any place i'd been. the all you can eat people talk about isn't real, it has limits of seven, which isn't a problem, but still false advertising. then thirty minutes to get the check. the food this time was "blah" not good, not bad, not containing flavor.

oh, and the soft drinks are canned at 2 bucks a pop, be prepared. tea is refillable, but has an odd taste. instant mabey?

good rolls. average price on specialty great price on basic. 2$ domestic beers ,great service.

loved it!. we went for my daughter's birthday and weren't expecting much. after checking out the menu i figured it would suffice for and 11 year old's birthday (with 4 kids and a husband on a business trip). well, i was very very, happily surprised with the service, food and restaurant itself. for one--they have a kids play space--good or bad, it's there and just make sure you have hand sanitizer, just like you would at any othe playplace. my 4 year old got to watch dora while eating. again, good or bad. you can seat yourself away from this area if you choose. we usually eat sushi at a higher end place but i chose to try elsewhere and was pleasantly surprised!! great volcano roll and big tree roll! seaweed salad, though not traditional, with the romaine, was a hit with the kids (and myself!). we will definitely return! server let me know that there is 9.99 all you can eat lunch...hopefully will be through the december holidays--we will go for sure!
