large portions. good food. go early because there is always a line.

ever since i first came here one early morning before a work meeting at the blockbuster down the street, this place has been my favorite place to eat. even after being away for so long, the food is just as good as i remember. their homemade hash is something that i always get and it never disappoint. if you're looking for a breakfast that'll leave you full and satisfied, look no further. i do recommend getting here early though. tables fill up quickly, or they will once a state of normalcy returns.

best place for sunday breakfast when you've had too much saturday night. i am no longer right around the corner from lou roc's but will not hesitate to make the journey for the breakfast. just what the doctor ordered- eggs, meat, toast, potatoes, well-prepared, plentiful, great coffee, many interesting elbow rubs. i could eat pounds of bacon the way it is cooked here, not sure what they do differently, just so darn good.

my "go to" place for breakfast/lunch. this is a true "all american" diner. the food is great, the prices are good, the staff are terrific (the waitresses are entertaining and "full of personality") and you'll see that they have a lot of regulars. my favorites are jodi and dawn and sitting at the counter to watch the show. regular specials daily (thursday's roasted turkey is my favorite) with an insert page in the menu on weekends for all the specials. my new weekend favorite special is the steak with latkes (potato pancakes), eggs done your way and toast.(see picture) they have the best quality steak i've ever had at a diner and always cook it just the way i ordered. get ready to be in line as they are very popular. if you go between the standard meal times you can miss or lessen your wait.

the big breakfast. it's damn big. if you get a side of pancakes, it's tough to finish. just the way i like it. it also tastes unbelievably good.
