lorelei restaurant & cabana bar

we love hanging out at lorelei's especially at sunset. their frozen drinks are amazingly good. their homemade potato chips are pretty darn good, too. enjoy!!

just walked out as standing at the bar for over 25 min just not cool while other walk ups get drinks and leave then got a table and asked the waiter with compassion about being in the weeds and got a lecture about tourism and high season!
for a local to get all that just means nobody there cares. no just a real
report!!

amazing sunset view, great food, and great music! ordered rum punch and smoked fish dip to start which both were very tasty. fried conch sandwich and slaw for dinner was very good! service was good as well. definitely a stop worth trying!

atmosphere is a 10 out of 10. food, not so much. great place to watch the sunset. would not recommend this place for the food. we had the chicken sandwich bun was about as dry and stale as one could get. my wife had the chicken lemon caper, which was a bit bland as well.

great food, atmosphere, and staff. arrived at 1:30 pm on friday. quickly greeted by our friendly hostess, linda. ordered the special, grilled mahi ruben- with swiss cheese, fisherman's slaw, thousand island dressing on toasted ruben bread. also ordered smoked fish dip for an app. washed it all down with bahama mama. eventhough the place was packed, our food arrived hot and quickly. best mahi sandwich ever, wow!! linda was excellent. guys, great place to take a date at sunset! can't wait until i return!

still love this place.... it's casual and relaxed -- as it should be. the fish sandwich never misses. the cracked conch is excellent. the shrimp and grits makes for a hearty breakfast. the spicy peel'n'eat shrimp served hot is some of the best in the keys. the pours at the bar are fair. if i had to find one criticism of this place it'd be pretty minor -- i'd like to see them use less plastic. i get why they do (plates, flatware, cups...everything) but less of it would be cool.

bottom line -- you owe it to yourself to spend a sunset and the ensuing evening here relaxing. just be sure you make it back for breakfast.

dining in paradise.... you could begin and end with a pound of peel and eat served warm and spicy (cold and mild are an option too) with lemon and drawn butter. it's plenty and you'll need to go wash your hands.

but why stop there? i visit south florida fairly often and try to get to this favorite spot in the keys when possible. and on three recent visits the fish sandwich was a different fish. all were cooked to perfection.

this place has it all... great food... cold drinks... great view... and it isn't really very economical but when you are in the keys who cares? paradise ain't free.

supper slow getting your food don't be hungry when u come lol

not my thing. the location is incredible but otherwise this place doesn't really have much going for it as a restaurant. the food is bar food quality. it is difficult to find a table where you can talk as the live music is very loud. if you are looking for a bar this is probably a decent bet. if you are looking for a restaurant there are many good options within a mile of here.

dinner on the beach at sunset...beautiful. the best conch fritters ever!

go here for the best conch in the the keys! we had it two ways ... ceviche & cracked/fried with some breading (not the fritters). both were great as was the stone crab soup. fast service as well.

food is awful frozen & just heated up. why not fresh fish being right on the sea? saw a great band playing british music a french woman & english drummer , lung was there name . thank god the music was good

awful. i thought my wife was trying to poison me until i saw her breakfast was dreadful too. do not eat breakfast here!

didn't vote. this was a "just ok" spot. my wife loved her steak, my shrimp was bathed in batter. the music was too loud for our liking - had to scream to each other to talk. but, great view of the water and sundown.

the service and food here is absolutely horrible! they had our orders all wrong and had to get our own ketchup, to go boxes, and we had to ask people for our check. the atmosphere is very laid back with live music and a beautiful sunset. only perks.
