amazing place, awesomefoodand great service. one of the biggest pubs in chennai. i loved the interiors and how the entire place is set up. this place is a must visit.

as someone who has been a designated driver since time immemorial, there are very very few places in chennai that can keep me entertained. lotd, wins at keeping my attention, with the ambience and my stomach happy with the delicious food. its not just drunk food, lotd is actually one of the few places which pays a great deal of attention to thefoodthey serve. bonus points for having an alcohol libriary.

am no michelin rated restaurant owner or gordon ramsey but would like to give my honest opinion about the place.
ambience- have been to all pubs, clubs restobars in chennai but the ambiance they have created is awesome. it’s not easy to do a theme based interior for a 5 or 6 thousand square foot place. the outdoor and indoors has been treated equally well. highlight would be the throne and the best part is you don’t have to fight a war to sit on it.
drinks and food- they have the usual domestic and imported liquor to please everybody. the best part are their cocktails. had ordered couple of them and all the ingredients were mixed in the right proportion and were of right temperature. they have an exquisite menu. you start with one and will want to try each and everyone of them as you go along.
service - the most important part i think for a restobar. you tend to get impatient if you have to wait for your next drink orfoodorder. believe me if i say i my orders repeated each time when i finish my drink and the waiters asking if we need any more starters when they see a plate empty. all this happened when there was about 600 people on the house. one word to describe it would be impeccable.

bottomline- unless another lord comes down to chennai this would be the go to place.

finally clubbing genre upgraded @ lotd. amazing ambience and location with some vibrant and tastyfoodin thé menu.

thé one place which can handlecrowd with at-most care, with well trained cooperative staffs. two separate bars both in outdoor and indoors is an added advantage.

well placed liquor library with some best acoustics. not to miss thé largest resto-bar in chennai folks.

the largest restobar in chennai, was waiting for such a long time for it to open and it was totally worth the wait. the place is done up so well, very good ambience. thefoodis one of the highlights it was so good. a must-visit restobar, pricing is worth it and also the service was amazing. overall loved everything about lotd! ❤️

finally a best place to relax and chill. thefoodwas awesome. never got a huge space with beautiful interior. hospitality is good. must visit the place.

finally a break for chennai with the largest resto bar in town with a fresh and unique theme and concept. as part of a larger brand they’ve definitely kept up with the elite ness and decor. the throne and lighting take the icing on the cake. it’s a brand new (effing awesome) place and the variety offoodand liquor is something worth trying. staff is courteous but i think they’ll be able to get up to speed soon. beautiful music, beautiful ambience and welcoming staff. all the best

there is no other place like lotd in chennai.. great ambience, yummyfoodand courteous staff.... had almost given up partying in chennai.. these guys changed my mind. lotd thank you for reviving chennai.

one of the best restaurants i have been to in chennai! thefoodis out of this world, and the staff are so welcoming! all thefoodand drinks are fairly priced. the ambiance of the place makes you wish you never had to leave!

the coke is served nice and warm, and the vegetarianfoodhad bones in it (don’t worry they say sorry afterwards). that’s a prelude to how this place is - it has way too many staff, most of whom leer or just say no to stags (bang in chennai office country) and ask you to vacate by 430pm (the place was empty, but they are expecting people to come apparently :) the beverages are mostly average and thefoodis a miss. go to vasantha bhavan below and have a rasam shot, take a selfie of this place, and head straight to chipstead at taj. not worth more than the paper the menu is printed on for sure. chennai has better and more rocking places anyday!

been to the same place in mumbai and delhi. chennai is definitely a few notches lower: thefoodis bland and sacchharine, the staff look lost and gave anachronistic rules, and the place is so empty. not recommended.

rude manager (mani), uncooperative staff.foodis very average. give it a miss there are better newer places around. the decor is the only place going for it, but can visit good earth for that...
