one amazing place and the most happening place in chennai in recent times, finally here but not for their liquor but for their food menu and trust me for the first time i was left a resto bar happy without drinking but by just having good food.

we started off with a cream of roast tomato soup which tasted like every other tomato soup. then came the calamari thokku which was perfectly cooked without making the meat chewy, then came thr beef ularthiyathu and again properly cooked without making the meat chewy. my favourite starter out off all was the mutton galouti kebab which just melts in your mouth, the prawn tempura rolls were also great. they also a seperate section in their food menu which has alcohol infused dishes. the j.d dhal makhani hit the top in my list then the vodka prawn biriyani. for the desserts we had brownie with ice cream and gulab jamun cheesecake and both were equally good.

overall a beautifully lor and got. themed resto bar that's serves great food and liquor.

well this place is out of the world. staff are friendly are awesome. drink rate wise little high but whole allexperienceis totally worth it..!

lord of the drinks - best destination for great food and good music with warm hospitality.

we were welcomed inside by mr.krishna who ensured that we got some seats though we had come half an hour past our reservation and provided a wonderful service throughout the evening.

to start off with, we had ordered kung pao chicken and fish tikka. both the dishes were recommended by the waiter and both were brilliant. after that, we had ordered few more starters of french fries and chicken poppers which were also good. though we wanted to try out the main course, we became already full with the starters and decided to skip it. overall it was a greatexperienceand would definitely be back to try out more dishes.

also, a special mention to their ambience and music, which was amazing and entertaining.

we visited the place on friday evening and it definitely lived up to the hype. 
the place is big, undoubtedly, which is a big thumbs up for me, as i was with a big group.  
the alcohol is a tad bit pricey but the quality is worth the price, unlike some fancy clubs that excessively dilute the alcohol and serve you flavoured water. the food menu, on the other hand, is quite elaborate( yes, even for vegetarians) and we ordered a couple of dishes. the most noteworthy of them being the four cheese pizza. slightly disappointed with the nachos but overall no complaints regarding the food. 

the bartenders and the wait staff is quite courteous and make theexperiencequite memorable. definitely worth a visit, especially for the ambience, even if it might leave you poor at the end of the night.

one word "crowded". if you are into rubbing shoulders with the gliteratti this is the best place to land. be prepared since tables are booked well in advance for weekends.

i usually have a lot to say about the food, service, ambience and the drinks. however, i will conclude my review by saying that myexperienceof this happening place will be one of slow service, small portions sizes for the food and too much of enigmatic hoopla.

i will be fair and rate the ambience at 5, but my rating ends with this.

if you are into dancing there is a small area marked for that along with a dj playing commercial music.

i went there last tuesday with my friend, i heard about the place before going there so i was so much excited to go.

sitting area - yes it's very cozy and luxurious and it is very much comfortable.

ambience - this is place is so amazing so classy , both music and light , interior... all perfect

food - whatever starter i try all the tastes are really yummy ( perfect continental food).

service - staffs are so cordial and helpful.

overall it a greatexperience, would definitely visit this place.

having been to other lord of the drinks in delhi and mumbai, it was a satisfactory experience. the food, ambience and servers were at par with the standards of good quality. but myexperiencewas made bitter sour due to the bouncers who were extremely rude to most customers going in. they seem to let people in based on their appearance telling them "seats are full" while in reality place was not even half occupied. lod had been one of my all time favorites, i was looking forward to my visit to it here in chennai but was left with the feeling of sheer disappointment.

brand new joint, well lit, spacious, music was pleasant and soothing, service was surprisingly quick, personnel were so polite, food was yummy and in all a truly satisfactoryexperiencefor a professional crowd such as ours.

ok let me start by saying chennai is finally opening up to new places which is great ....however when a new place opens the ppl managing the place need to check their attitude....we are the customers and your place will run only wen customers come there ..pls learn little bit of customer service....jus had a horribleexperiencewith this place... would never go there jus for the way ppl managing the place talk to u....

chennai has a new exciting place which you cant miss. we had an awesomeexperienceat lotd. the food was amazing as well as ample varieties of pours to rock the house. a must visit for those fashionistas and party animals looking for great music , food and pours !
