i absolutely loved this place. the ambiance was amazing, music was excellent, food anddrinkswas superb.

the place is truly amazing! great food,drinksand ambience. must try cocktails,jd dal makhani and the seafood platter.

i don't live in chennai any more, but i was there visiting my family. my husband and i went to lord of thedrinkson a tuesday night looking for a quiet drink and we were not disappointed. the service was excellent(selva was our server and he was phenomenal) and the food and ambiance was great. in fact we liked it so much that we invited all our friends to meet us there before we left the city on friday. it was a great space with good food and service. there's no question we'll be going back when we are in chennai next.

the decor and interiors were good but the music was flat.
food was good.
but, thedrinkswere not great. i had an lit which was not quite strong.
and the worst part is the manager was rude. they dont have propery air conditioning system. it was v cold in some places, when we asked for change of seats we were flatly refused even though it was a week day and the seats were barely occupied.
very poor customer service and over priced place.

we visited the lord of thedrinksat kamala mills compound on a saturday. we reached the place a little early, around 7pm. the place has an amazing ambience with seating near the bar. we were told that if we want to hold our table after 9.30 pm we will have to do a minimum billing of rs. 16000. we did not go for the option and decided to hop bars. while we were there, we ordered a long island ice tea, whiskey sour and a mint pineapple mocktail for drinks, and in food we ordered the veg chettinad pizza and a burrito. both food items were delicious and the portions served were also good. the music was little calm snd we could therefore have good conversations. after 9 pm you can get on to the dance floor for some action. we danced for like half hour and then were packing up, by then the place was completely crowded and we actually witnessed crowd as in a mumbai local train, held on by security who were trying to get in. i suggest get your booking done for the weekends if you a looking to spend a nice time at the restaurant.
the staff is friendly and the service is quick.

overall a great place to hang out with your friends on weekends.

lord of thedrinks.. obvious give away on the restaurant theme .. armoury of soldiers and viking helmets galore .. we were the first to arrive around noon .. we left after a world of chit chat around 3:30 .. it was only during this review that i realised that we took only pictures of ourselves and not of any food that we ate .. this shows how well the interiors were .. some of the non veg curry was very spicy .. hence we asked the staff managing our table to reduce the spice quotient on subsequent orders .. chilly panner was good and spicy .. would be just apt for a chill beer .. not to be this time since i did not drink .. the falafel was ok with humus and pita bread .. the peri peri panner pizza was good .. on thin crust .. my friends to had good non veg side eats .. on the whole another memorable outing with friends ..

the food was good.drinkswere made as per our liking. lovely ambience. however, the top floor looked better.
 lord of drinks. a awesome place massive venue with a quirky,vibrant ambiance which welcomes people with open arms and infections smile.

lord ofdrinkslocated at lower parel is a heaven for drinkers out there... booze and all is literally like paradise. food is also very yummy here...all in all ...go for it.

i would disagree with the reviews that stated the staff is rude, we went there and their hospitality was exceptional. no wait time(though it was a thursday) and thedrinksand food were also good.

finally after so much of wait went on the very first day of 2020. i liked the outside seating with roof than the inside regular city pub. the place is well done. the variety of food withdrinksis great for all type of guest. but the pricing is a spoiler. come on its not a 5 * property that one needs to charge 450 for dimsum or for just 4 pcs of sushi. the dal makhani with jd was a great thought and i really enjoyed it. roasted ceasar salad was fine. the service could be little better with good recommendations. overall a satisfactory experience.
