located at the fourth floor of south city mall, lotd is famous for its signature cocktails, orthodox yet classy menu and chic ambience.

the place is a visual treat, you will be mesmerised by the breathtaking interiors, lion heads, grand chandeliers, black and white chequered flooring, high chairs, comfy sofas and an enormous bar section!

we went their just before the pujas, for the special occasion they launched a special menu , we tried :

spaghetti aglio alio
garlic naan with murg awadhi korma

also a few mocktails, virgin mojito and all along with their signature cocktails!

the korean fried prawns can be paired off with their signature cocktails, a delectable appetizer. one of my favourite, the charcoalchickendimsum, plump and juicy with adequate amount ofchickenfillings, a must have! from the mains, we tried the garlic naan along with murg awadhi korma and to my surprise it turned out to be really good, you don't get such awadhi dishes in a pub!

they have been in talks for organizing various night parties and offering a wide range of choice of drinks to try from.

lod has came up with the much awaited pizza festival .

they are having this festival for a limited period of time , so definitely try out this place this weekend if you are pizza lovers and want to chill out in a lovely place along with some mouth watering pizaa and drinks.

it had been in my bucket list for quite some time and finally visited the joint with my friend on a thursday for lunch..this restaurant stands on the top floor of south city mall amidst soda bottle opener wala and barishh..
i called beforehand and booked a table for two and the lady over the phone was warm enough to take the booking..it was a late lunch so visited post 3pm..
the ambience is wonderful with a grand touch of gold decor everywhere..truly one would feel like a lord sitting in such an elegant bar cum restaurant..
we had ordered sweet corn soup,chickenhakka noodles and veg munchurian...all the items tasted lipsmacking..special mention to the juicy n tasty munchurian balls.. absolutely enjoyed!
since my first visit went good, i planned the second meet too with four of my friends out there last saturday...had pre-booked the table although on the weekends pre booking do not seem to be available but to our gladness we got a perfect lounge seat for us four ladies around 4.30 in the evening...
this time wanted to try their pizza varieties so opted for gondhorajchickenpizza that came with 8 thin crusted slices..it was yum with the perfect gondhoraj lemon essence..in pasta had ordered one carbonara pasta and onechickenand mushroom pasta...both taste subtle and mouthwatering...in drinks i had signature chapman which i took the suggestion from the staff out there for a non-alcoholic drink and truly i did enjoy the taste...it was a mixture of orange and pomegranate..i liked..
in hard drinks my friends had ordered a daiquiri, margarita and butter beer and they seem to like them too.
overall i rate this place as a must visit not only for the classy decor but also for its good food..even i enjoyed the music that they kept playing at the background to make sure customers mood stay pepped up...service was cordial..they helped in taking our pictures too..
pricing is definitely on the higher side and even on both of my visits they had added service charge separately although after i requested them to waive if off they did discount it without raising any concern..

life is not about finding yourself, it's about finding the best pizza and to try the best pizzas in town visit lord of the drinks as soon as possible and be a part of their pizza fest. lod is located at the 4th floor of south city mall just opposite to the food court.
they are serving six different pizzas in this festival. which are :

•kasundi paneer pizza
•gondhorajchickenpizza
•tangra chillichickenpizza
•kosha mangsho pizza
•daab chingri pizza &
•chocolate sandesh pizza!!

i absolutely loved the gondhorajchickenpizza here it was light aromatic, cheesy and full of flavours. this one is highly recommend. next we tried their kosha mangsho pizza, never tried bengali kosha mutton in a pizza but the mutton chunks took this pizza to a whole new level. i'm sure you'll love this one too. the kasundi paneer pizza and tangra chillichickenpizza was also good in taste.
we ended this amazing gastronomic experience with chocolate sandesh pizza, this pizza was totally unique. if you are a chocolate lover don't forget to try this one.
we tried few mocktails as well and all the mocktails were very refreshing.

overall i had a great experience. don't miss this fest if you are a true pizza lover.

lord of the drinks kolkata is one of the most happening gastropub out here in kolkata. we recently visited to enjoy the all new pizza fest happening at lord of the drinks.

was served with two exclusive pizzas. one was ghondhorajchickenpizza and the second was kosha mangsho pizza.

i am sure you all have tasted n numbers of pizzas. i will request you all to try these sets of bengali recipe flavoured pizzas. i am sure you guys will never be disappointed rather you guys will crave for more.

so what are you all thinking. just go for the pizza fest at lord of the drinks at south city mall, kolkata today only.

thanks to bobby, spent an incredible afternoon at lord of the drinks, at the south city mall. loved her hospitality. the virgin mojito was quite refreshing and the appetisers were extremely delicious. would strongly recommend thechickenspring rolls and the sukka prawns. must try.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

personally i liked liit cocktail from lod.
and the dj nights are mostly starts after 9.
four cheese margarita actually super good compared to other italian restaurants.

city of joy is dressed beautifully as festivals are knocking at the door and we are all ready with our plans. restaurants are also geared up with their festive menu , lord of the drinks not being an exception.

one of the busiest places of south city mall , lord of the drinks is a well articulated , medicated and conceptualised establishment. a gorgeous bar section greets you when you enter the huge property. various kinds of sitting arrangements , beautifully decorated walls and ceiling create a magical ambience.

the dimsums are generously filled withchickenchunks served with two dips, the red spicy dip is too good. black coloured momos taste as good as it looks

korean fried prawns are simply outstanding. tender succulent prawns coated in a batter and deep fried. a dish that i would love to go back for.

southern pepper calamari is a simple dish made of calamari rings , add a bit of lime juice on top of it to elevate the flavours.

for the mains , the murgh awadhi korma was indeed royal in taste and in looks. white creamychickengravy loaded with lots of cashew and raisins. the garlic naan was also top class. i definitely enjoyed this main course more than the spaghetti aglio olio.

besides you can definitely enjoy a huge range of drinks. do drop in this puja and enjoy

ambience:- most happening party place in kolkata these days. it's not too large, & severely crowded. you need to wait if no prior reservation is there. i found it to be more crowded as we went on sunday evening.

food:- we had beerchickenchips, mustard grill fish,chickenpepper stalk &chickenin mushroom sauce.
along with virgin merry in mocktail.
i don't like the taste of this one.
last two items were sizzler.
all of the dishes were really delicious. quantity was sufficient. quality was awesome. that beerchickenchips was really mouth watering.

staffs:- staffs were really courteous. they will take feedback of every dish. they will not let you wait too long even if you don't have reservations.
most importantly, they serve really quick.

overall:- it's not overpriced, but the price is on higher side. can't comment on drinks, as i didn't have any. food tastes great & definitely must visit place for party lovers.

it's a great place to hangout with friends and folks. ambience is great with an elaborate menu both food and drinks. a must go place to spend great time. food tasted ~ afghani murg and alfredochickenpasta. quantity is more than enough and as per ambience the price is also perfect!
