we order cappuccino and orange juice to begin with followed by chocolate and lemon biscuits.
orange juice was freshly squeezed and pulpy and just what was needed. cappuccino were good frothy and the perfect blend. 4/5
chocolate and lemon biscuits were good cookies but we felt they could do with a bit more lemony flavours. 3/5
we followed these with, ciabatta with tomatoes & mozzarella. this was just devine with a beautiful and bountiful mozzarella. would recommend this to all to have it, no trying just eat and fly. 5/5
next was the mushroom quiche, nice golden,buttery fluffy pastry tart with quite a bit of mushrooms and some spinach and onions with some garlic flavour to go along. still the dominant flavour was mushrooms, beautiful to eat with the fresh salad along with it. 5/5
had the raspberry mousse, beautiful flavour of raspberry and the mouse was light and the jam topping was slightly sweet and tart from the raspberries. the sponge in between is a jaconde cake which was a little bit dense and drew back on the overall experience of the dish. 4.5/5
to end it all we ordered the sacher torte. beautiful flavour of apricots and chocolates on top of an almond cake, apricot jam and to boot this was an eggless option. 4/5
