little vincent's pizza & restaurant

cheesehead2. t'aint the best pizza on long island as many claim but , in my opinion it's the best pizza i have found in suffolk county. when i'm in the area i always stop for a slice or two. stick with the pizza. when i have ventured to their other offerings i have generally been underwhelmed. no, it's not that they are unappetizing but i have had better.

pick up order. their food isnt bad but i have to say their customer service is bad. one of their oldest employees has a huge attitude problem and thought he was funny. with that being said, i'll never place an order with them again. being respecful towards a customer isnt difficult.

i’ve been here many times. if you find yourself near lake ronkonkoma stop in for a slice even if you are not hungry. they make some of the better pizza i’ve had. it’s not the best but it’s damn good.

be careful. they use the same gloves to count money and serve food. they are nasty if you say anything about it. short fat guy with black hair has a horrible attitude. never spending money there again!

this place i have been going to since the 70s it has the best neapolitan pizza around i read some of these reviews i don't know what these people are thinking it is cash only ,you know that the tables are small the service is not great but the pizza is great .if you want to have a great pizza this is the place.

it's a shame.... normally i would rave about this place but this is definitely the last time i will go here. first of all, it's a cash only business that doesn't deliver. hey, it's 2014, get with the times. don't cheap out because you don't want to pay merchant services or delivery drivers. anyway, i ordered a large plain pie. the guy told me 20 minutes and it only took 18 for me to get there. it takes 5 minutes for me to get there from my house. when i got there the pizza was sitting in the box on top of the oven. whatever right? i get home and open the box, the pizza was cold. it looked like a pie that sitting out on display all day. it was too small to be considered a large pie. it was completely overpriced for a pie this terrible. they don't have anything close to the amount extras a normal place would have. on top of all this, the customer service is poor. they all have attitudes and treat their customers like trash. never again with this place.

last couple times had the pizza it was soggy and limp

the pizza is ok but the pie is the smallest i've ever seen and more money than any other place on the island. they only accept cash for obvious tax reasons. i do love pizza and my family used to go allot but i haven't gone in a long time because there are so many pizza places with pizza just as good and real size pies for less money.

make no bones about it, little vincent's can be a bit intimidating to the uninitiated. a grumpy man awaits your order, and even during light periods has no time for you to make up your mind. the good news is that it is not so hard to order a slice, and you can't go wrong with that here. a plain slice ($2.25, below) is good enough on its own, but for an extra 75 cents you can ask for it to be heaped with cold cheese on top. it's not listed somewhere, you just have to ask for it. 2 slices with cold cheese adornment the cheese starts to melt on the hot slice, and is definitely a unique experience. i think whether or not you select it is probably just

best pizza around!. we drive from work in hauppauge to lake ronkonkoma just to get a pie for our lunch break. we have tried local pizza places, but nothing compares to this place if you are looking for a plain delicious slice. specialty slices are not their game...

best pizza on long island. i went here practically everyday over the summer. there's nothing better than drunk pizza at 3 in the morning, and little vincent's does the trick. definitely try their cold cheese slice. and no, no garlic knots

we've been going to little vinny's since i was a kid- now i bring my son there. he loves their plain cheese pie. we like some toppings. this is what ny pizza is all about. when i was in 4th grade my teacher used little vinny's monthly trips as a reward for doing well in school. he would take a few kids each month for an after school treat at the pizza place. it was fun.
we try other places just so see what they are about but always wind up back at vinny's. my family visits from va & whenever they are in town...we must get pizza & then they call all their friends in va & rub it in that they are eating the best pie around!
keep up the good work! just wish they could expand the dining area & takeout area.....

remarkable pizza, outstanding service. if you're visiting long island and are looking for some of the best, stop in here. no mountain dew...
