i started with goat’s milk chocolate milk – because why not? i was expecting this to be creamier and tangier than regular chocolate milk, but i could hardly tell the difference. but chocolate milk is chocolate milk; what’s not to like?

amazing original food. service is reasonable and nice environment but it's all about the tasty treats. the all american burger is one of the best burgers in all of usa hands down. yeah i said it.

i’ve been to the little goat many times before but this time it was pretty different i was with a friend his wife and newly 1 year old; i specifically requested a high chair as the place was completely empty with over a dozen open booths and the absolutely inconsiderate hostess wouldn’t allow us to be seated at a booth with a high chair even though they were available was told that all the booths were reserved! out of every restaurant both domestically and internationally i’ve never heard of a specific booth/ table being reserved at a diner! don’t think i’ll ever be returning! oh yes not to mention there were at minimum two other families with booths and older kids at booths in high chairs!!!

this place is great. we had the sourdough pancakes, eggs, a cinnamon roll all were really good. the eggs were some of the best eggs i’ve ever had. pancakes had great flavor. i love the vibe, we sat on the patio and could see willis tower. new favorite breakfast place in chicago.

little goat diner is an upscale diner experience with high quality food and a terrific atmosphere. i just moved to the chicago area and a friend who has been living in the city for several years suggested we go there. we both have children who are 2 so we wanted a great dining experience that was also family friendly. this was the perfect place. the food was exceptional. i started out with a drink called the local goat. it was gin, grapefruit, ginger and lime. perfectly sweet but not over done. it was so good that i ordered another one. for dinner i ordered their shrimp and grits. i am relatively picky with shrimp because most chefs overcook them and they tend to be too chewy. these were done just right. four over-sized and flavorful shrimp were served on top of a steaming bed of cheesy grits. the grits were cheesy, salty and creamy. they could not have been better. overall, i think this restaurant is a wonderful place to eat. i highly recommend making reservations because this place has a line out the door breakfast lunch and dinner! cheers!

in june 2017 beloved harry caray's at midway was replaced by a barely functional white sox restaurant that serves mediocre food with a slam. i am in miday at least 6x a month and always looked forward to a nice break at harry's, the new place is run by a disorganized, confused, rude, sloppy staff that literally slaps food down in front of you..when they get around to it. the margahrita flat bread is tasteless and tough. breakfast is slightly better but still a far cry from harry's. probably chicago corruption...ruining your trip!

as you’d expect, little goat’s menu riffs on classic diner dishes – corned beef hash, pancakes, reubens, burgers – but with stephanie izard’s tinkering, including her frequent incorporation of szechuan flavors.

fab breakfast, fab atmosphere.

it took us about 20 minutes of walking, but the food made it completely worth it.

the servers are honest about recommendations and adapt to your appetite too.

i got the eggs something-something (i remember it was indian-fusion) and my so got the bi bim bop breakfast bowl.

and both were pretty filling, enough to keep us going across the country via flight without another meal that day. :)

cheers to the little goat. got an experience at a michelin-starred place and a good breakfast. look forward to visiting again!

delicious. great flavors. smoke fries are unique. okonomiyaki was my favorite, great balance of savory and sweet. goal almighty is a “man vs food” affair with half pound goat burger + large brisket steak + pulled pork + a masa tortilla + pickles and onion rings. wow! toffee and pork fat shake was to die for.

compliments to the head chef. great presentation to all the dishes i saw being delivered to the tables, including ours. we had a couple pot pies. the dish was wonderful. the crust was perfectly done. full of chicken and veggies. very ordinary decor for the elevated prices across the board. attentive service too. glad we went but will keep looking for the right blend of $$, food, and decor out of a chicago diner. this one's a little too costly for me but the food was really good.

awesome brunch place! another restaurant by stephanie izard. very nice open space inside. dishes are interesting and have a great combination of flavours. latte was good. try the little goat latte if you like goat milk - it has steamed goat milk. place was pretty packed. they take reservations for brunch which not a lot of places do.
